John 17:3. Explain it please.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

This knowing, does not mean knowing everything about the Father, but is the knowing of one person to another.

Humans can only understand things as humans can, which is why Jesus came, and Jesus did not understand everything then either.

God had His people kill a lot of men women and children in the OT times and while I could explain that it was due to Gods law which even He can not change, I still find it hard to understand, so I do not stumble over it because I know something of Him which assures me He knows best and is always right.

Something to do with how you can love your parents and they love you , but if you step out of line bigtime then fear may overshadow that in your thinking, and if you are immature then you might even think God is against you completely when He us not. (Job, Heb.ch 12.

Best To watch out for what Nang is teaching/preaching!! Nang is a devout
Calvinist, and she is preaching that, God "chose" before He created the
world, who he would bring to Heaven and, who He would send to the
"Lake of Fire!" (Hell) Those whom He chose for Heaven are called the
"Elect!" Nang considers herself to be one of those "Elect!" That's one
of the reasons she's arrogant, harsh tempered, angry, and a, "Know
it all!" She feels entitled, after all, she's one of the "Elect!"

She thinks she knows who is of the "Elect" and who is not, no doubt!
She "KNOWS" GM cannot possibly be in her league! And, no doubt she
thinks she knows about each of you? Who knows, perhaps she has made
a list and drawn a line down the center of a blank sheet of paper, on one
side, is the "Elect" on the other side, the "Unchosen!" Just a wild guess
on my part?

Who made you God?

No wonder you dismiss the instructions of James.

Jas 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
Jas 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
Jas 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
Jas 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
Jas 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
Jas 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
Jas 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Jas 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Jas 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Jas 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
Jas 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
Jas 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Jas 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Jas 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

What do you base your opinion on?

Humans can only understand things as humans can, which is why Jesus came, and Jesus did not understand everything then either.

Really? So there is not ever any Divine insight given man that will take him beyond human understanding? An extreme case was Paul being caught up to the third heaven and given understanding he could not share. There have been lesser instances, to be sure. That is just part of "everlasting life" experiences when it happens.

The reason God spoke such commands was to prevent the influx of anti-God'multiculturalism' into the Hebrew society which would, it time, have brought about the same conditions that were responsible for Noah's flood. __ We see this happening today over all the world as we speak.

The unwise virgins of Mat ch 25.

It is impossible to understand more than you are capable of.
