No, Paul himself did not get to hear the grace gospel ALREADY preached way before until he met the ascended Christ and the road to Damascus.

The Grace Gospel was the Message that Paul was to deliver to the Gentiles. He first went to the Jews and they rejected, he then, went to the Gentiles from there on.

Paul was DESTROYING THE CHURCH---the CHURCH---the church that ALREADY EXISTED.

Paul was destroying it and Jesus saved him unnaturally so that the worst of sinners could know they too can be saved.

Acts 8:3 But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison.

The New Testament church was born on the day of Pentecost. When Peter preached the Gospel 8,000 Jews heard and believed, some of which had participated in the crucifixion of Christ. Acts 2:41, Acts 2:36, Acts 4:4.

Which goes to prove that...

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17. Which is the Gospel.

I was showing that Mad is in error.

As for faith comes from hearing...the message that saves is about Jesus' blood being shed for the forgiveness of sins...forgiveness of sins we want forgiveness for...not sins we are going to keep doing...but rather the sins we repent of doing. LOL

And Paul's grace gospel was that Gentiles by God's grace could become a part of the Father's firstborn son.

Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

This is Paul's grace gospel preached to Gentiles.

The Gospel is far more than Jesus shedding his blood.

The Gospel is about how Jesus justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles a world of lost sinners to God, 2 Corinthians 5:19.

...more than Jesus shedding his blood? Jesus' shed blood cleans us, sanctifies us, makes us righteous, and justifies us of the sins we repent of, and we are reconciled to God. We are reconciled to God because at the time we are saved, God's Spirit is put in our hearts, and we are seated with Christ in heaven...we are reconciled to God.

You teach that those same reconciled sinners that were lost, still wind up lost, and unreconciled if they dont do something !

Nothing in the Gospel is ours if it is not received by faith.

John 1:12.

And the only kind of Faith that pleases God is a Fruit of the Spirit given in New Birth Gal. 5:22.

But the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God 1 Cor. 2:14.

Yeah, he doesn't understand that believing and receiving are works;
works of the mind [ergon] but nonetheless.

He's one which stumbles at the Word 1 Pet. 2:8.
