ECT WHY I DO NOT FOLLOW JESUS !!

Jesus fulfilled the law, Completed it. He lived the law and did not sin and then died for our sins. He showed us it was possible to fulfill the law.

Jesus said people OBEYED THE LAW.

You are saying things Jesus did not say.

See Luke 1:6.
Many of the laws of the OT are not possible now. Their is no temple for sacrifice. God does not desire sacrifice anyway. Still there are many that can still be observed along with the 10 commandments and this would include Sabbath which is part of the 10 commandments along with food.

The WHOLE OLD LAW has to be followed. No one can do that anymore.

Just because we cannot observe God's appointments in their fullest does that mean God wants us to follow the practices of the pagans along with their holidays and the pagan observances. There is no reason to follow Easter, Christmas and Halloween.

Why are you bringing up those days?

Last I knew heaven and earth are still here.

Jesus fulfilled the Law and the Prophets and that was before heaven and earth disappeared.

GT believes she must "earn" her salvation.

You can not earn your salvation. That is self-righteousness. We need the righteousness of God not our own righteousness. If we perform works on our own then it is self-righteousness and does not save. If we have faith we are saved but then we should want to be obedient. Not because it saves us but to be obedient to God.

We should obey the law but not because of our own self-righteousness.

The WHOLE OLD LAW has to be followed. No one can do that anymore.

Was the whole law followed while God walked Israel through the wilderness? If it was then why were all the males not circumcised on the eighth day like commanded? They were not circumcised until they reached the promised land.

Why are you bringing up those days?

Because God says they are forever. Still if we do not have faith then they are void and nothing but self-righteousness.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

We can follow the law all we want but if it is not by faith then it is nothing.

1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commands is what counts

You are trapped with false teachings about faith alone.

There is never ever a wrong time to obey Jesus.

We are saved after we obey Jesus by confessing and repenting of our sins, and calling on his name.

We stay saved and have life by obeying Jesus' teachings.

That is how we live through the Spirit and how the Spirit lives through us.

That doesn't even make sense.

Circumcision is mutilation of the flesh because God does not command it anymore.

Observing special days are now worthless. All the special days were about Jesus. We are to observe Jesus all day every day.

Philippians 3:2 Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh.

Galatians 4:9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? 10You observe days and months and seasons and years.…

Colossians 2:17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

Not true. Do you expect everyone from day one to follow the commandments perfectly? Even your subset of commandments do you believe we should follow them on day one? If you do not have faith then why would you even follow the commandments in the first place? Faith is what leads us to being obedient. Not the other way around.

The false circumcision party in Paul's time tried to FORCE people into following the laws before declaring that person saved. The person should be saved first and then want to be obedient. Timothy was a Greek who was saved and chose to be circumcised. Titus was a Greek who was saved and they tried to force him to be circumcised. He did not let any man force him to do anything. It is not by man but by God.

1) if someone tells you do follow a law a you do it to be saved but do not believe then it is self-righteousness

2)The oral law was given to the patriarchs. Israel received the oral law and then the tablets at the mountain and promptly went on to worship a calf.

3) Then why is tabernacles observed in the future in Revelation and Zechariah? God is not a liar!

Every one of the "obeyers" have been brought to admit they are not obedient themselves, they just want to flog everybody else.

Jesus said if you are angry it is as though you committed murder in God's eyes.

They are dishonest, let them come clean and admit they are teaching a way which neither they nor anybody else has found to work.

Jesus says to repent of your sins or perish.

How about start there.

Jesus who knows our hearts saves us when he accepts us. See Acts 15:8, and Acts 10:35.

Even your subset of commandments do you believe we should follow them on day one? If you do not have faith then why would you even follow the commandments in the first place? Faith is what leads us to being obedient. Not the other way around.

That is not so. Jesus says if anyone wants to know if what he says is from God, they would know if they obeyed his commands.

See John 7:17, and John 14:21.

Study these scriptures harder too.

John 8:31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

Jesus says if they obey his teachings THEN they are truly disciples AND THEN THEY WILL KNOW THE TRUTH.

The false circumcision party in Paul's time tried to FORCE people into following the laws before declaring that person saved. The person should be saved first and then want to be obedient. Timothy was a Greek who was saved and chose to be circumcised.

Timothy was circumcised only because he was a helper to Paul, and Paul wanted to take Timothy with him to speak to the Jews. It was AGAINST THE LAW FOR A JEW TO ASSOCIATE WITH AN UNCIRCUMCISED MAN.

Titus was a Greek who was saved and they tried to force him to be circumcised. He did not let any man force him to do anything. It is not by man but by God.

Who said anything about forcing people to obey Jesus?

So how much obedience should believers have?

1) if someone tells you do follow a law a you do it to be saved but do not believe then it is self-righteousness
Jesus says if you obey his commands then YOU WILL HAVE FAITH.

It is not SELF righteous to obey Jesus' words. It is not self righteous to be a servant to God.

2)The oral law was given to the patriarchs. Israel received the oral law and then the tablets at the mountain and promptly went on to worship a calf.
We are speaking of the NEW LAW. The new law is of faith.

3) Then why is tabernacles observed in the future in Revelation and Zechariah? God is not a liar!

You will have to give the exact scriptures you are referring to, since you do not understand the scriptures correctly.
