Is that statement infallibly true?

The truth cannot be known-is that a true statement?

See how that works?

Chapter, verse that asserts that my teachings, or any other respective member of the body of Christ's teachings, are infallible.

Chapter, verse, that asserts that the church, i.e., me/any other respective member of the body of Christ, is the source of objective truth.

No, that is not a true statement.
The truth can be known.

See how that works?

Not really. Your question was very easy to answer. What were you getting at?

Chapter, verse that asserts that my teachings, or any other respective member of the body of Christ's teachings, are infallible.

Chapter, verse, that asserts that the church, i.e., me/any other respective member of the body of Christ, is the source of objective truth.

God is the source of objective truth.
The question is, by what means does God's truth reach the ears and eyes of men?

Do you believe that Christ's apostles taught any falsehoods?

Feel free, then, to disprove their content. Let's have it.

We have all done it here many many times... yet in your ignorance you refuse to acknowledge the truth!

Why is that? Why is believing in something that is demonstrably false so important to you?

Do you go to "Long John Silvers" on Fridays? Do you like "Long John Silvers?" I do.

Jester of glass asked:

"Is that statement infallibly true?"

I countered, based upon his "argument," above:

"Chapter, verse that asserts that my teachings, or any other respective member of the body of Christ's teachings, are infallible.

"Chapter, verse, that asserts that the church, i.e., me/any other respective member of the body of Christ, is the source of objective truth."--saint John W

His "response:"

"God is the source of objective truth.
The question is, by what means does God's truth reach the ears and eyes of men?"-saint John W

"Do you believe that Christ's apostles taught any falsehoods?"-him

You missed it. What they taught, was given to them directly by the Holy Ghost, ...

They received the gift of the Holy Spirit=power from on high=baptism WITH the Holy Spirit, not baptism BY the Holy Spirit.

And associated with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, per the Lord Jesus Christ's own words, why are you studying and learning and teaching? After all, per the Lord Jesus Christ's own words:

"But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak." Mt. 10:19 KJV

"But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost." Mk. 13:11 KJV

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." John 16:13

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

Thus, during this time, "Back to Pentecost," the prophetic program, when the sign gift, miracles.....were in operation, the apostles were given absolute, "perfect" knowledge," before the completion of the word of God. This includes the "word of knowledge," explaining how Peter knew that Ananias, had lied to the Holy Ghost-survey Acts 5 KJV.

That was temporary.....Then, a dispensational change, as the prophetic plan was (temporarily) set aside.....No more sign gifts/word of knowledge/apostles.........

The means by which God's truth reach the ears and eyes of men,is through the written word, illuminated by the Holy Spirit. But, in this dispensation, nowhere does the LORD God promise that we will all have "exhaustive knowledge" of all truth, as in days past.....Hence, the admmonision by Paul, to study, teach.......................................................Another thread...

There are many various belief systems within the RCC.
It is similar to a giant octopus with its' many tentacles.

E.G. Many dioces, parishes, etc. teach praying to Mary
and many teach praying to various saints.
I witnessed an old lady praying to a wall filled with icons
(she was indoctrinated/deceived by the EOC).
Scripture teaches against all such activities.

MANY people will lose out on salvation ...
who put their faith/trust in the wrong places!
But, of course, that is part of Satan's plan, isn't it?

Questions or Comments?

The most interesting thing about your poster is that there is nothing on it regarding faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Jesus the Christ is my Lord and Savior and that is why I am a Christian.

The various themes mentioned in the meme represent some of the reasons I was compelled to enter Christ's one historic Catholic Church fifteen years ago. I thought they might prompt some discussion on the forum. If not, that's fine, too.
Christ's one historic church? No such thing.

Moses had a church Acts 7:38 KJV
The Lord on earth had a church Matthew 16:18 KJV
The church, which is His (Christ's) Body, is the fulness of Him that filleth all in all (Ephesians 1:23-24 KJV)

2 Timothy 2:19 KJV

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His"... (2 Timothy 2:19)

Since Jesus knows who are his he also knows who does not have his Spirit and are not his. Those who are not his are not being judged at this time, but they will be judged by his word (the Bible) at the Last Day. Those who are not his are free to believe whatever they want to believe.

Neither are something Christians should be preoccupied with. The world is going to do evil, it is up to use to provide an alternative and allow Christ to show through us.

There are many various belief systems within the RCC.
Catholicism is a single belief system that applies to all Catholics everywhere.

E.G. Many dioceses, parishes, etc. teach praying to Mary and many teach praying to various saints.
Rather, ALL dioceses and parishes teach asking the past Saints for their intercession before God.

I witnessed an old lady praying TO a wall filled with icons

You misunderstand. She wasn't praying "to a wall," but rather to the Saints whom the icons represent, asking for their intercession before the Lord.

(she was indoctrinated/deceived by the EOC).
Only according to the opinions of your chosen recently-invented, man-made non-Catholic sect, from which you have received your present assumptions and beliefs.

Scripture teaches against all such activities.
See just above.

In fact, everything in the picture has to do with faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Funny how you insist on viewing---have been conditioned to view---every aspect of the Catholic faith exactly backwards.

Jesus the Christ is my Lord and Savior and that is why I am a Christian.
Me too.
