So the Comforter could come.
John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

That was the verse I was thinking of and also to prepare a place for us ( John 14:2-3) and for glorification (John 17:5).
He came to bring many sons to glory
"I am come...."
He came after He was sent.
He was sent after His Baptism.
The Father came into the world through His residing with His son.

Amen. He came back for ONE REASON:
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
What was lost? In the garden, Adam and Eve lost their relationship with God. Men could no longer walk 'with' God. Through Jesus' Blood and our testimony of Him through the faith that He gives us, we are able to walk with God and His Holy Spirit inhabits us. We are in perfect agreement with Him, in our spirit. Jesus lives in us. He gives us a relationship with The Father.
