Senator Romney is rogue, it's not the same as RINO. He's more of a loose cannon. He doesn't understand politics, clearly sees it through a private sector businessman's lens, but a shallow businessman. Caught up more in credentials and pedigree, prejudiced, iow; which is intellectually stunted, a shame. I so share so much of his personal ethics, it's too bad his politics is disfigured.

Former Trump's politics, and to be clear he had one job----if the iron is hot then strike, and that means get "Originalist" (includes all that "historicist" denotes, and then some) justices nominated to the SCOTUS if you have the opportunity, and he did get the opportunity, and the iron was hot, and he did strike; his politics was Republican.
And now we've got Roe overturned, even after former Trump's been out of office for near 18 months now, even still we live in his wake. He changed this country. He drained the swamp. The swamp is the so-called, and misleadingly called, quote-unquote "liberal" S. Ct. justices. They're currently outnumbered by a 2-to-1 supermajority.
Their ideology is incoherent philosophically, all it does do objectively is to enable the Democratic ideology to materialize without federal interference. That's the swamp. It's drained, or it's draining right now.
