If what I read is true he is on his third marriage and has issues with pornography and sexual immorality. He was convicted of misdemeanor child abuse. He also calls for the establishment of a criminal code under the Old Testament (or the Mosaic Law as Enyart likes to emphasize) as national law which includes the death penalty for offences such as homosexuality, murder, attempted murder, adultery and abortion.

Now why should I or any other person who follows the teachings of Jesus want to follow this person’s teachings? What makes Bob Enyart “the man” of this site?

Just asking.

My spirit is troubled that anyone should regard this man as being anything more than a religious Rush Limbaugh

Really. Bob has his opinions and is respected my many, but I never heard it said what you are saying. I think you are fishing for trouble, nothing more

You can believe whatever you want and follow whoever you want. I haven't read that article recently but I recall it being pejorative. I dont care enough about it to take it point by point. Anyway, I know Bob personally. It's not like we are great buddies who invite each other to New Years Eve parties or anything, but I know him well enough to know he's sincere and honest, and seeks to honor God in his life. I've heard him talk about his past and am convinced it is indeed behind him. I have been to his church several times and have a lot of his Bible study materials. He's the best Bible teacher I know.

I jokingly call myself an "Enyartian" when the joke fits, (to tease TOLers and some family) but I dont think of myself as "following" any teacher or pastor, Bob or otherwise. I dont think anyone is asking you to follow Bob either. You would do well to check out the resources he offers imho though.

I don't know Mr. Enyart. I've listen to his radio show periodically (that is actually where I heard about this site) via the net the last few years. I find that I agree with about 50% of what he says is true, though I appreciate his stance on abortion and the work he does there. I am in no way a 'follower' of his - he isn't my pastor.

Hey guys you forgot!

It's now Tuesday here in Colorado and we all know that Monday is the day for worshipping :knight: Tuesday is the day that we all slather ourselves in mustard and dance in purple leotards around the statue of Bob Enyart while beating children with cotton bathrobe belts!

Get with the times!

I agree. Especially when he roped Rush Limbaugh into it. Correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe that some of the ToL owners and mods are members of the Denver Bible Church.
