And the racist, homophobe, and xenophobe vote. And the paranoia vote. And the ignoramus vote …

The real problem with being the party of the rich is that there aren't many rich people. So you can't win elections by being honest about yourself. You have to lie, and cheat, if you want to win.

Me: Two voices crying out in the wilderness, speaking the truth. Prophets really.
But eventually the piper demands payment and a settling of accounts. After November 3rd we'll still be saddled with Mad Donald for a time, maybe not that long... Many people think that by spring Trump will lose interest and enthusiasm when he faces opposition from congress and just quit. That would suit his lazy, cowardly nature though.

There there now.

Let it all out.

I have heard a lot of criticism against the R party

what I don't like is that they often do not fight hard enough against really bad Dem ideas.

But they did all vote against Obamacare, so I sometimes wonder why they are overly criticized by those in their own party

Boehner is rather hard to figure out sometimes. Often he seems like a Republican, but sometimes like a RINO

I feel McCain is a rino and a few others. anyway, I am wondering what others think

:(
The best Republicans are those who understand the Constitution, America's godly heritage, freedom and rights and who fight to preserve those rights. Sadly, too few Republicans and almost no modern democrats are like that.

Long time since republicanchick started this thread. Lotta water under the bridge. What's wrong with the Republican party today couldn't have been imagined back when. Who could have imagined that the Republican party would end up being mostly made up of foolish dupes prone to cult indoctrination, some who know better but are spineless yellow cowards, and a few like Stephen Miller and Peter Navarro who are actually pulling the strings. But, it seems things are starting to come to a head.

So what does everyone think? Are the Republicans going to make a good show of it for the mid-terms?

It would seem many people are waking up and becoming reacquainted with reality. Finally, they can once again, identify a cheating, lying, thieving conman. Enriching himself (and his family) at taxpayer's expense. I'd be angry too...
