can't win without the religious wacko vote

The real problem with being the party of the rich is that there aren't many rich people. So you can't win elections by being honest about yourself. You have to lie, and cheat, if you want to win.

Me: Two voices crying out in the wilderness, speaking the truth. Prophets really.
But eventually the piper demands payment and a settling of accounts. After November 3rd we'll still be saddled with Mad Donald for a time, maybe not that long... Many people think that by spring Trump will lose interest and enthusiasm when he faces opposition from congress and just quit. That would suit his lazy, cowardly nature though.

There there now.

Let it all out.

I have heard a lot of criticism against the R party

what I don't like is that they often do not fight hard enough against really bad Dem ideas.

But they did all vote against Obamacare, so I sometimes wonder why they are overly criticized by those in their own party

Boehner is rather hard to figure out sometimes. Often he seems like a Republican, but sometimes like a RINO

I feel McCain is a rino and a few others. anyway, I am wondering what others think

:(
The best Republicans are those who understand the Constitution, America's godly heritage, freedom and rights and who fight to preserve those rights. Sadly, too few Republicans and almost no modern democrats are like that.

Long time since republicanchick started this thread. Lotta water under the bridge. What's wrong with the Republican party today couldn't have been imagined back when. Who could have imagined that the Republican party would end up being mostly made up of foolish dupes prone to cult indoctrination, some who know better but are spineless yellow cowards, and a few like Stephen Miller and Peter Navarro who are actually pulling the strings. But, it seems things are starting to come to a head.

So what does everyone think? Are the Republicans going to make a good show of it for the mid-terms?

It would seem many people are waking up and becoming reacquainted with reality. Finally, they can once again, identify a cheating, lying, thieving conman. Enriching himself (and his family) at taxpayer's expense. I'd be angry too...

The same problem exists. Many, or even most do not want what they claim they stand for. In history, not my ways, spies and traitors are traditionally executed even without murder. Line a few up against the wall with the jihadist the Army is going to execute in December. It isn't just the Chinese spies and their allies in the DNC.

If the republicans don't do well tonight, this could be a great time of rejuvenation of the party. They need to become rooted, exorcised of the obvious disgusting excesses they've become prone to.

You mean purge the liberals in the party.

The Republican Party has enabled, promoted, and profited off the historically corrupt Trump adminstration.

Corruption is what Americans voted against tonight. It's a blue tsunami.

It sure was! :D

Heck, even the malignant, narcissist manchild can't honestly be shocked by the results, although he's too busy hiding away and sulking into cheeseburgers at the moment...

I agree with you about past experiences... I went to Tea Party events because I was so frustrated with the Reps always caving and compromising. I voted for Trump for a change!

Now with the last number of elections I say this: It is mostly about our own people plus some infiltrators who are now citizens but are wolves in sheep's clothing. Our own people are willing to vote for anything that will give them what they want ... whether they accept the godless with it or not. Of course our enemies go along with them. They are smarter than them. They know how to gain a foot hold.

Our people kick in the face of God Almighty ... thinking themselves wise they prove they are fools. They kick in the face of the Creator and I don't think God likes to be mocked. We are told that wisdom actually beings with a fear of God ... more than a fear of mankind for God can destroy body and soul.

Well, at the moment I'm feeling that this election was our peoples last chance to repent, but they doubled down. It would not have mattered if different people had been running. Our people are bent on sin... and their will being done.

God does deliver consequences to nations that rebel, but I'm hoping his OT pattern repeats in that he saves a remnant... especially those who have been crying out about evil.

I'm just in a wait a see mood today ... and very disappointed in my state and in many friends and relatives.

Has it occurred to you that these friends and relatives, along with most of America, were just fed up of the way things have been and wanted change? Trump is the most embarrassing, incompetent, corrupt and self centered president your country has ever had the misfortune to lead the nation. Why you are going on about sin is anyone's guess. Thanks to Trump and his self serving sycophants, people's gas, diesel and grocery prices have gone through the roof thanks to a war Trump promised not to start. Unsurprisingly, it's come back to bite them on the behind.
