This.

Especially once they figure out how to build a ramp big enough to let spacecraft go from horizontal to vertical during launch instead of having to sit vertically on the launchpad.

Actually the first space tourists will be be flown to high altitude in and aircraft call the "White Knight" ( :D ) then dropped from the aircraft and reach space in a rocket plane called "SpaceShipTwo". This space system was developed by Scaled Composites who has partnered with Richard Branson and created Virgin Galactic. The price for one ticket is $200,000 and space flights are supposed to start in late 2013.

'He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.'

'Space' begins a centimeter above the ground and your breathing in the blue hue.

anyway, the fantasies of imagination reside in the perpetual darkness of the brain, or maybe a meditating in a sensory deprivation chamber session, or even when sitting in the DMV waiting room wherein the BO from an Arab aside thee commingles with the scent of Dollar Store perfume emanating from the weird lady-creature behind, sends the mind reeling into an altered state of consciousness.
Or, one could go check out the IMAX presentation of Space Shuttle footage from Low Earth Orbit so one can really visualize the breathing in of the blue.

Don't think so.

But a cruise sub to the bottom of the ocean would be cool.
