Tell me why I don't like Mondays.
Tell me why I don't like Mondays.
You don't like Mondays because they're named for the Moon. It isn't so much that you don't like the Moon, it's just that the Moon and the day weren't designed to go all that well together, so it subconciously seems like a theological conundrum or oxymoron. And though the Moon was made for the night, homophones only remind us of that abhorrent other homo activity, so unless one pronounces the silent "K" you're somewhat stuck. I'm sure you'd like the day if you simply began calling it #2, Tolday, or better yet, Tollhouseday.
