Even if it was the plant that is 40 miles from my house I would be close enough that the government would be passing out potassium iodide in my neighborhood. Some lady on Facebook was talking about drinking green tea and I thought, What could that hurt? I do like green tea.

I'm on the East coast so I'm not really worried. If I was on the West coast, I don't think I'd be too worried. It seems like crossing the Pacific is enough distance to weaken the radiation. :idunno: I'm not a scientist though. :chuckle:

I have also taken the precaution of not being a scientist. I think it a wise one.

I had a woman or two opt for bilateral mastectomies when the testing for the breast cancer gene really got off the ground. I never quite decided how I felt about that.

After careful consideration I went and stole one of them lead vests the Dentist tosses on you before an x-ray. It's kind of heavy so I really can't hold it up all the time. That's why it's good to be a family man; the wife & kids take turns holding it up to shield me. lain:
