I know it's someone else you're specifically talking about here, but, just so you know, I didn't mean any offense. Though I really was a little amazed that these numbers actually matter that much to you. I had been under the impression that no one really saw it as a matter of numbers, at least not anymore (maybe way back in 2006 before reputation inflation really took off.)
In any case, I don't think anyone's going to see anyone else in a new light now that they know any of this! Even if we did have a pie chart (about this.) Or unicorns.
Speaking of hobbits, vampires, and spiders... I think my thread about Lancet Medical Journal back in 2007 really deserved a lot drama and fireworks than it got. Especially since it had BillyBob in it (or maybe that's what kept everyone else out...)
