farcical (adj.) 1716, from farce + -ical, perhaps on the model of comical. Related: Farcically.

farce (n.) late 14c., "force-meat, stuffing;" 1520s, in the dramatic sense "ludicrous satire; low comedy," from Middle French farce "comic interlude in a mystery play" (16c.), literally "stuffing," from Old French farcir "to stuff," (13c.), from Latin farcire "to stuff, cram," which is of uncertain origin, perhaps from PIE *bhrekw- "to cram together," and thus related to frequens "crowded."
... for a farce is that in poetry which grotesque is in a picture. The persons and action of a farce are all unnatural, and the manners false, that is, inconsisting with the characters of mankind. [Dryden, "A Parallel of Poetry and Painting"]
According to OED and other sources, the pseudo-Latin farsia was applied 13c. in France and England to praise phrases inserted into liturgical formulae (for example between kyrie and eleison) at the principal festivals, then in Old French farce was extended to the impromptu buffoonery among actors that was a feature of religious stage plays. Generalized sense of "a ridiculous sham" is from 1690s in English.

if
you cannot connect the dots

chrysostom,

You do just what all false prophecy teachers do. You put your own interpretation to the book of Revelation instead of using scripture.

are you suggesting the prophecy of the apocalypse was fulfilled prior to the first publication of the bible?
that would make you a preterist
are you?
if not
only history can tell you where it has been fulfilled
right?

so what is your interpretation?

My interpretation is this:
The book of Revelation was written to the 7 churches of Asia.
How do I know that? Because that is to whom it was addressed.

Jesus said several times, in this book, "I come quickly". False prophets make that out to be thousands of years.

Jesus said judgment was coming upon the 12 tribes of Israel.

Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Revelation speaks of that judgment.
How do i know that? Because they that were judged were judged according to their works. That would be Jews, those that had been under the law.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The age of Law is over. We live under Grace. When we believed our sins were forgiven. How do I know that? Because that is what happens when we believe. There is no need to judge someone who has no unforgiven sins
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The only way that these things can be proven is with scripture. Did the scriptures I quoted say so? You should believe it!
