God's Truth

You can say you preach the truth all day long and into next week, but it doesn't make it so.

The truth stands on its own....it needs no constant defense.

What? You say the truth does not need constant defense.

Jude 1:3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God's holy people.

Philippians 1:7 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.

More GT treats and pride.
Was Abel prideful?
Was Noah prideful for being righteous?
Was Abraham?
David?
Moses?
Enoch?
There are more.
Accept God's grace.
God's grace is that no one has to work at cleaning themselves for being sinful, just to go to the temple where God's Spirit was, for faith that Jesus' blood cleans us of our sins is what cleans us, and we become the temple.
You're not going to get into His body by YOUR obedience to anything in MML&J
Jesus' words are life for everyone.
Jesus even went to hell and preached the gospel to the disobedient people in the time of Moses. There were no Jews there then. So what was Jesus doing preaching the gospel to the dead non Jews?
Paul taught the same gospel.
Nobody will receive God's grace by what they do to earn it.
Jesus saves us all on his own, and he chooses who he cleans. Jesus tells us what to do to get clean.

Even you admit to SOMETHING. You say we have to believe. Believing is something we have to do. Except we have to do more than just believe, we have to repent of our sins and call on Jesus.

WARNING: Missing scriptural support!

They were made perfect by the gospel of grace---they were cleaned/justified/sanctified/purified by Jesus'blood and the gospel they witnessed being preached.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

Read this scripture:

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

When someone comes to Jesus to be saved, they have literally come to Mount Zion in heaven.

They come to heaven where the SPIRIT OF RIGHTEOUS men were made perfect.

The only thing that makes anyone perfect is the body and blood of Christ.

This post shows AGAIN, your total lack of understanding for what the Bible teaches about BOTH the selection of Israel as God's people on the earth AND God's choosing of a body for His purposes in heaven.

No, I am not.

Jesus destroyed the dividing wall. We are all the same to Him when it comes to who we are blood related.

Ephesians 2:14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,

The Jew's flesh and blood is just as sinful as the Gentiles, for all are made clean when they go through Jesus.

You really know how to change the subject when you have been proven wrong. Hooray to your victory dance.

The only one who try to put gt down is gt.

Gt boasts that she is a debater but all gt does is say, 'I, gt, say that that is what the verse say; it does not matter that that is not what I, gt, read.'

Does it make sense that you say we don't have to do anything that Jesus says to be saved?

It mattered about the blood of Abraham because God promised him that there would be a blood relative of his to sit on the throne. Jesus is blood related to Abraham. Since Jesus has come, it only matters about his blood and who has faith in it.

Read what God says.

John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

See during the time of the old law, one only had to be blood related to Abraham, get circumcised...do the ceremonial/purification works and the person would be called a child of God.

That is natural descent, and that is no more since Jesus.

And, a person could decide that they wanted to convert to Judaism; all they would have to do is to obey the ceremonial/purification works and they would be called a child of God.

That is human decision and that is no more since Jesus.

And, a Jew husband could marry a non Jew and tell her she must become a Jew, and all she would have to do is do the purification/ceremonial works and be called a child of God.

That was called a husband's decision.

That is the way it was, but since Jesus that would be the way no more.

See God did not like it that a person could get circumcised, sacrifice an animal and do the other ceremonial works but not really be sorry for their sins and stop sinning.

God said that He would make a new covenant.

That new covenant is what Jesus taught and died for.

Now Jesus saves us all on his own, and he tells us that he saves those who have faith that he washes away the sins they repent of and call on him.

Jesus tells us how to get to that point in life.

Word twister. You claim what you say is the truth and are constantly on the defensive.....because what you say is not the truth. Even your proof texts are mishandled. Contending for the faith is not defending a false truth. Neither is confirming the Gospel anything less than stating what the word itself states.

The TRUTH stands on it's own. The Truth is used as it's own defense....and that is what we use in it's defense. We aren't constantly expaining, explaining, and saying this really means that. We simply present the VERSE and it speaks for itself.

I give scriptures to prove my beliefs.

There is only one Spirit. The Father is Spirit, the Son is Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is Spirit.

They must be the same one and only divine Spirit.

See....total speculation. "They must be the same one and only divine Spirit".

Wrong, they are one and the same God in three distinct persons.

The word tells us that God is a spirit.....which means invisible. It does NOT say the Father is Spirit. The Son is the visible of the invisible God....He is not the Spirit. The Holy Spirit came out of the Father and was sent by the Son to dwell in the believer. Your inability to understand that the word spirit does NOT always refer to the person of the Holy Spirit is why you get so mixed up you are forced to say, "They must be the same .....Spirit." :nono:

Yes, per the revelation given to Paul.

Israel will be restored, per the revelation given to Paul. Romans 11

When God is finished dispensing His grace, His earthly program with Israel will resume.
