God's Truth

The Word which was with GOD came as a man.
The Word WAS God.
The Word which was with GOD came as a man.
The Word WAS God.
What you believe in God's Truth is Modalism, also called Sabellianism.
Exegete John 1:1-2 correctly and you have your answer.
I already said that I am not that.
Why won't you tell me how they are different?
John 1:1King James Version (KJV)I know what the scriptures say.
John 1:1 King James Bible
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
You want a scripture that shows they are different. Here you are;
John 14:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
They are different persons.
The Word WAS God.
I already told you I believe there are three. Try again.
By the way, that scripture proves they are the same because when someone get saved, they receive one Spirit, yet they have the Father, and the Son's Spirit.
True, but the fact that the Word which was GOD was also with GOD implies that there were at least two persons before the creation in which they were both active.
No you don't! You believe they are the same like any good little modalist.
Tell me how they are different.
You've already been told and I'm not going to waste my time telling you again.
Steko,
Would you please tell me how they are different?
Those scriptures all prove they are the same not different.
The Father was not sent but the Father sent the Son.
The Son was sent but did not send the Father.
The Son suffered but the Father saw His suffering and was satisfied in justice for sin.
The Father did not suffer.
The Son proceeded and came forth from the Father.
The Father did not proceed and come forth from the Son.
The Father said, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased."
The Son did not say, "This is my beloved Father in whom I am well pleased."
The Son prayed to the Father.
The Father did not pray to the Son.
The Son/Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
The Son came to His own and His own received Him not.
The Father gave the Son a name that is above every other name.
The Son did not give the Father a name.
That's some, there's a lot more.
Things that are different are different.
