The Word "God" is a uniplural noun, no "s" required regardless of the number in the family.
Why?
Unity, we are one, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things and we for Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live. (1 Corinthians 8:5-6)
The Father is the head of the God family, but the heirs are also the Father's family.
Our head is Christ and Christ's head is the Father, giving us access to the Father through him.
Jesus said, "I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you." (John 14:18)
