This is a strange belief that you you are saying. I don't believe the prophets are dead, but how do you get they come back 'in' us? What spirits visit? We receive the One and only Spirit of God to live in us and help us.
Just think about John the Baptist what do you make of Elijah being in him.

It is a burden but the burden is light and is a wonderful thing to do the will of God, he has taken away a much heavier burden that I was living before I met God.
How's a thing both a price to pay and a burden and too wonderful.

It isn't a burden. His load is light and not burdensome but to those who long for the wants of the flesh, which is understandable. But those who wish to soothe will of GOD cannot also find that will a burden.

Your not one of the people who think Christ has done it all for you and you don't have to do anything are you.
What I mean is it's a good burden to carry I don't know about you but when I help somebody it makes me feel good inside that I may have taken the burden off somebody else. Helped them, give support when needed, put a smile on a face when they are down, help them up when they are suffering. It a burden that you take but it's one that to me is light and good.

To carry the burden of my own flesh which I had no idea I was carrying before I knew God, was one of those people that needed help and by the grace of God I got it and all those things that worried me and thought was a big thing seem a million miles away from me now.

The price is you life to give you life to God just as Jesus did. We are not perfect and God knows that because we have a devil that won't let us be, but I try everyday and come short but I know this way is so much better than the other way I hope you understand what I mean now.

Jesus says the work is not burdensome.

1 John 5:3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

But you are right, Jesus has a work for us and we have to do it to get saved and to stay saved.

I just want to say that I agree, it is wonderful to do what Jesus says. Amen.

When you speak the way you do.

The foundation has already been laid. Do you accept that?
Yes it had been laid and all were example. Every story in the Bible lays a foundation but we must carry it on. What would happen if we didn't carry it on, our children and children's children would forget it, it's happening now in this generation less people are talking about the things of God we are getting tolerance to the things that are happening in the world that are against God's will.

God's people must show the right way the one that has been given over the last few thousand years, and what is given to us now for we pray for are daily bread and by the grace of God he feeds us.

What do you believe that it means then? Thanks

I already said what I believe it means. I will say it again: Being a person who speaks God's Truth is having the Spirit of God.

I will also add: Being a person who speaks and lives God's Truth is having the Spirit of God.

John the baptizer was someone like Elijah. He came and prepared the way for the Lord.

Elijah urged the people to turn from sin. That is what John the baptizer did.

John the baptizer prepared the way for the Lord.

The Lord would not come to them until they repented of their sins.

The foundation was laid by the prophets and apostles and Jesus Christ himself as Chief Cornerstone.

The foundation has been laid.

You are NOT laying the foundation, the foundation that has been laid a long time ago.

Ephesians 2:20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

The foundation had been laid, but we share the word of God and once we receive the rock of revelation from the father which is that Jesus is the Christ the son of the living God, then we become a part of the church. And once we are born of God, we become a living stone. And Christ who is our foundation and our rock gathers us into his arms by the word, through his people, and starts to build his church, that church is built upon that rock. Which is the revelation that Jesus is the Christ. Christ is the cornerstone upon which each living stone should follow to make the building straight

Christ was in the prophets and the apostles, they are the foundation but only because Christ was in them, and Christ is cornerstone of all of us. But that foundation can't be laid in the hearts of people, without us sharing God's word and the gospel with one another. Thats why we are living stones, alive in God, speaking his word, and living by his will, not loving our flesh and this world, putting God first in our lives, and truly following Jesus our cornerstone, he is the way, the truth, and the life, and his way is the only way to follow. No one comes to the father except through him.

This is what Elijah taught, and it is what John the baptizer taught:

1 Kings 8:47

47 and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors and say, ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly’;

John the baptizer prepared the way for Jesus. He came preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins (Luke 1:76-80).
We are still to confess that we are sinners, and to repent, to prepare the way for Jesus Christ to live in our heart.

No, Jesus didn't say that John was like Elijah, he said this was Elijah. But John said he wasn't Elijah. Because John was John, but the Spirit of Elijah was in him ministering to him and through him, that's why Jesus said that John was Elijah yet John said he wasn't. Elijah is one of the ministering Spirits of God, and his Spirit is holy because he comes from God.

Paul speaks of the ministering spirits, these are all holy because they come God through Christ and they only speak what they are given of God to speak!

No, Jesus didn't say that John was like Elijah,

I have proven with scripture that having the spirit of Elijah is being like someone, just like we are like Jesus when we obey him.

he said this was Elijah. But John said he wasn't Elijah. Elijah is one of the ministering Spirits of God, and his Spirit is holy because he comes from God.

I definitely do NOT agree with that. You are claiming that another man's spirit is in John. No way.

Paul speaks of the ministering spirits, these are all holy because they come God through Christ and they only speak what they are given of God to speak!

Scripture doesn't say God puts other men's spirits in men.

Yes they are, but we can't build upon the foundation unless that foundation is within hearts. And we receive that foundation, which is Christ through the word of God spoken by those born of God through the Spirit.

The foundation has already been laid. The scriptures say that plainly.

Ephesians 2:20 19Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens of the saints and members of God’s household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. 21In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.

I believe that the foundation has already been laid.

So what are the ministering Spirits that Paul speaks about then? Who do they minister to?
