I think the point of the opening post was that in a lab setting it is remarkably difficult to recreate or delineate the conditions required to produce mudstones over millions of years. The idea that the conditions would have remained stable enough to produce uniform deposits over extended periods of time (millions of years) is ludicrous. Uniform mudstones layers must have formed quickly to have formed under uniform conditions. There is no restriction that says a lot of mud cannot be deposited in one area in any short amount of time (within reason).

And Darwin borrowed the idea of survival of the fittest from an earlier English economist that supported Laissez Faire Capitalism. What is your point? If Darwin's idea of evolution is inaccurate does that mean that Laissez Faire capitalism does not work?

Darwin's idea was even more of an exaggeration than Laissez Faire Capitalism was.
