ECT The New Covenant de-complicated for 2P2P-ers

You are half right about seeking Christ through Israel; it was the source of the first missionaries to the world. That's what I'm saying about Acts. It is made final in Acts 1 that the whole business is not about a Davidic kingdom. It is about a power to speak to all nations. Which happened many times in Acts and continues.
Clueless as per usual. Christ did NOT cancel the kingdom in Acts 1 no matter how any times you blabber on as though He did.

He canceled their conception and gave power for his. '...but you will receive power'. That's the answer. , Eph 4: HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN after ascending on high.

In addition, It is obvious that their kingdom is nowhere in Acts or the rest of the NT. That is why all of you go back to the OT and say 'but...' 'but...' because you have not understood what the new and living way of Christ is on these things.

I'm clueless as to 2P2P because it is a fraud; not the NT.

"...but you will receive power' is NOT a cancellation of what God had been telling them for almost two thousand years.

You still use your term "NT" like a numb-skull.

Yes, it does cancel that. Nothing of the old covenant is to be brought back because of the surpassing glory of Christ. Heb 8 on that. The term 'power' in Acts 2 was an administrative term which meant a kingdom was being launched, which we already knew.

There is nothing close to this kind of material in the NT about your Davidic theocracy. Or else the apostles were just absent minded. There is scant reference to it all through church history until the 1800s. That's when 2P2P was invented.

What great VanderLaanian told you that?

G1411 δύναμις dunamis (d̮ï '-na-mis) n.
1. force.
2. (specially) miraculous power.
3. (usually by implication) a miracle itself.
{literally or figuratively}
[from G1410]
KJV: ability, abundance, meaning, might(-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle(-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work
Root(s): G1410

That word is used in many ways.
Phil 3:10 (AKJV/PCE)
(3:10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Now you'll probably tell me that His resurrection is a "kingdom" too.

There is nothing close to this kind of material in the NT about your Davidic theocracy. Or else the apostles were just absent minded. There is scant reference to it all through church history until the 1800s. That's when 2P2P was invented.
Once again, your completely bogus "everything must be repeated or it's cancelled" interp is just that: BOGUS.

Power is in the group of terms like authority and dominion etc, ie, administrative. But it also had a sheer force to it and 3000 were saved. You don't seem to be aware at all of what happened in terms of action in Acts 1-2.

There is a similar term at the end of Rom 16: 'deigma' or decree/order. It is how the nations were brought into faith.

Nope, you have a Judaistic idea of 'rise'; that is 'kata sarka' (according to the flesh) 2 Cor 5:16. That's what he's saying: he once saw Christ/Jesus that way. That is what is to be discarded. You have missed what happened in the new covenant age. You are not aware that none of those things show up again when the NT talks of the New covenant. That's the complication of 2P2P; it's foundation is a fraud but they believe it is 'there.'

:chuckle:

Gobbledy gook.

THE FACE VALUE OF HEB 8:13 IS THAT THE NEW COVENANT IS IN FORCE AND PRACTICE NOW. You systematically reject this and think you know something about the new covenant. You think you are smart but you won't do the work it takes.
