The Most Dangerous Teaching

What is the single most dangerous doctrine or teaching today for believers?

Look lively, people.

:readthis:

I'd have to say, any doctrine that adds anything; water baptism, good works/deeds, confession of every single sin, etc, to the death and resurrection of Christ, is the most "dangerous" doctrine/teaching. If one places faith in anything else other than Christ and His work on the cross, there's a BIG problem. Faith is the prerequisite to forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life.

Uh obeying God is the most dangerous doctrine?

People just repeat things their pastor of choice says.

There are many people who believe in Jesus and do not obey.

So BR saying Paul is saying that our works are a direct result of our believing in Christ is NOT TRUE. No scripture anywhere says that.

A person can believe and NEVER obey.

Just because one believes does not mean they are saved.

We have to believe and obey.

Obey what? What form of "obedience" would be considered, "Saving obedience?" How would you gauge how much "obedience" would save you and how much would you need in order NOT to fall short? Do you have the answers? Do those "answers" have a corresponding Scripture to back them up?

At the Judgement, people will be judged according to their works. These are the unsaved people being spoken of in Revelation 20:13; "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
