"The world is filled with lost souls, not lost in the theologic sense but lost in the directional meaning, wandering about in confusion among the isms and cults of a frustrated philosophic era. Too few have learned how to install a philosophy of living in the place of religious authority. (The symbols of socialized religion are not to be despised as channels of growth, albeit the river bed is not the river.)"

"Jesus lived on earth and taught a gospel which redeemed man from the superstition that he was a child of the devil and elevated him to the dignity of a faith son of God. Jesus’ message, as he preached it and lived it in his day, was an effective solvent for man’s spiritual difficulties in that day of its statement. And now that he has personally left the world, he sends in his place his Spirit of Truth, who is designed to live in man and, for each new generation, to restate the Jesus message so that every new group of mortals to appear upon the face of the earth shall have a new and up-to-date version of the gospel, just such personal enlightenment and group guidance as will prove to be an effective solvent for man’s ever-new and varied spiritual difficulties."

An Baa Baa baa....If Jesus hadn't of been set up as an Idol, he then wouldn't be in the way of Humanity caring for humanity.
The consequence is un- defined, hence the results of a earlier governing.

You can keep believn an Idol to life An destroy his perfect meaning.

Jesus isn't an idol, but is The Only One Who is worthy of ALL praise and worship, since He is The Creator, King of all kings and Lord of all lords. If worshiping Him were wrong, He certainly would have corrected Thomas:

John 20:28
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

He didn't because no correction is necessary. What he said was correct: Jesus is Lord and God.

I do agree with you partially, though: many use their phony religion (churchianity) as an excuse not to do good. To those who know to do something good and have it in their hand to do it and don't do it... is a sin.

Jesus came here for one purpose: to seek and to save that which was lost. What was lost? Relationship. In Eden, Adam and Eve lost their relationship with The Lord. Jesus restored that broken relationship. Only through His Blood can we be cleansed of our sin and come into God's Presence and walk WITH Him as they did in the garden.

Could you possibly be more obtuse?

The Idolisation side of Jesus is destructive...an the worshipers need to take responsibility for letting this world turn to soup in hope of a magical photo finish for those who have done their time, apparently. in hell...Amen

Jesus is a Table turner, hence, not to convince you he is visiting hell, but to convince you earth is governed ruthlessly. Amen

The presence of truth is the presence of what is divine and divinity is a supernatural presence. The truth is the creator of all things and as the creator of laws such as gravity, polarity, energy, light etc., it uses them as it pleases.

This is why we call the presence of it to be supernatural and why we see the presence of it through signs and wonders.

It's presence is always recognizable and that is why Jesus and the apostles were known for miracles because the harmony between them and their Creator who is the truth.

By the same token if there is nothing ever seen supernatural coming from something is because it is only natural a.k.a. good or evil.

At best those papers you worship are good but there is nothing divine about them nor do they describe what is divine because if they did you would witness the presence of divine fruit. (the law of the seed of truth)

It is not a matter of looking or seeking after what is already there.

That is why Jesus said by their fruit you shall know them.

Blessings

Doug

This is spoken ignorantly, for can you offer proof that readers and communities that value the UB have no spiritual fruit or knowledge in their lives? How much of the papers have you honestly read sincerely to understand the nature, quality and content of what is shared therein? The papers offer a rich depository of spiritual insight, values, meaning and knowledge.

The fruit Jesus speaks is not limited to so called 'signs, wonders and miracles',....but are love, peace, joy, temperance, self-mastery, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, etc. I give full allowance to signs, wonders and miracles, being somewhat 'charasmatic' myself....but all is to be balanced.

A tree bears fruit according to its 'nature', revealing its character. Gifts, anointings and special empowerments of the Spirit are given, but these arent always the focus in kingdom living, - they are supplied as the Spirit wills. God is available to all souls who open their hearts to him, and those who call upon Him are assured salvation.

Thanks for posting that Charity, and it is a delight to have you on the thread.

"As sovereignty passes from smaller groups to larger groups, wars are lessened. That is, minor wars between smaller nations are lessened, but the potential for greater wars is increased as the nations wielding sovereignty become larger and larger. Presently, when all the world has been explored and occupied, when nations are few, strong, and powerful, when these great and supposedly sovereign nations come to touch borders, when only oceans separate them, then will the stage be set for major wars, world-wide conflicts. So-called sovereign nations cannot rub elbows without generating conflicts and eventuating wars.

134:5.8 The difficulty in the evolution of political sovereignty from the family to all mankind, lies in the inertia-resistance exhibited on all intervening levels. Families have, on occasion, defied their clan, while clans and tribes have often been subversive of the sovereignty of the territorial state. Each new and forward evolution of political sovereignty is (and has always been) embarrassed and hampered by the “scaffolding stages” of the previous developments in political organization. And this is true because human loyalties, once mobilized, are hard to change. The same loyalty which makes possible the evolution of the tribe, makes difficult the evolution of the supertribe—the territorial state. And the same loyalty (patriotism) which makes possible the evolution of the territorial state, vastly complicates the evolutionary development of the government of all mankind.

134:5.9 Political sovereignty is created out of the surrender of self-determinism, first by the individual within the family and then by the families and clans in relation to the tribe and larger groupings. This progressive transfer of self-determination from the smaller to ever larger political organizations has generally proceeded unabated in the East since the establishment of the Ming and the Mogul dynasties. In the West it obtained for more than a thousand years right on down to the end of the World War, when an unfortunate retrograde movement temporarily reversed this normal trend by re-establishing the submerged political sovereignty of numerous small groups in Europe."

Could you please tell me what verse that is in the UB. I've been looking for it.

Thanks
Stuart

I can help with that Stuu before you get banned again:

(1561.3) 139:8.3 The early home life of Thomas had been unfortunate; his parents were not altogether happy in their married life, and this was reflected in Thomas’s adult experience. He grew up having a very disagreeable and quarrelsome disposition. Even his wife was glad to see him join the apostles; she was relieved by the thought that her pessimistic husband would be away from home most of the time. Thomas also had a streak of suspicion which made it very difficult to get along peaceably with him.
