From where you're standing, theres a tight rope that is attached at the truth target. You clamp yourself on that rope so you can stray off to read what you posted above but with you being attached to that rope, you return back to the path of the target of pure truth, the scriptures. I'm not saying you can't read all those extra things but you use the scriptures to confirm the truths of the extra writings. I read lots of extras but at some points you have to cut the rope to wonder off. You may never find thst white rope in the blizzard. If you find something the scriptures can't confirm then you have no insurance that the extra are the truth.

While Truths of Scripture are subject to interpretation, they are not cherries, to be picked over and some tossed aside. You've tossed aside your whole Bible, I'll bet.

I don't see how Jesus paraphrasing a passage attributed to him, expounding more on it, indicates straying from some concept of a 'truth-rope' you describe,...since I don't see a different meaning being explained here from the NT gospel accounts, only an expanded commentary on such. If you see something wrong or diabolical with the UB account, show where specifically.

You have no proof anyhow that the 4 gospels canonized in the NT are a complete, perfect or final record of Jesus teachings, you only assume such. There are many non-canonical works that have sayings ascribed to Jesus,...these like any other are to be examined upon their own merits. The extensive gospel teachings of Jesus in the UB stands among these extra-biblical texts, their value being recognized by those who study them. Truth is truth wherever it is found,....and the Spirit of truth is not limited to one culture or dispensation anywhere, as there is ever 'progressive revelation'.

UB theology is astonishingly very consistent, with its own terms, values, meanings, cosmology, etc. Just looking at one passage without having familiarized yourself with the terms and their meanings (the over contextual overlay of the theology/cosmology) and all its inner-workings and dynamics, is insufficient in giving an informed understanding of what is being communicated,...which is why first learning the 'terms' from the presentations themselves is essential (i.e. reading the papers).

The Foreword however concise and complex,..gives a summation of the entire theological system and cosmological whole. Each paper then expounds its own title-subject in great detail, so its available for anyone interested in such. No one is forcing anyone to read anything, but this is a discussion on the UB, so its only fair, logical and consistent to familiarize oneself with the material. If one is not interested, they can find another thread to engage.
