The Gospel of the Grace of God is in the Holy Bible - not the fabricated urantia cult garbage written in the 1900's. The REAL GOSPEL explains why Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross and what changed at the Cross. The urantia cult garbage denies the REAL GOSPEL.

As comparative religion, UB readers realize where things began to go down hill. Christ Michael sent us his life story unadulterated, we know there was a gospel that Jesus preached to the Jews, before they tragically rejected their calling, before killing Jesus became the new gospel.

The Urantia Book

Paper 194

Bestowal of the Spirit of Truth

(2059.1) 194:0.1 ABOUT one o’clock, as the one hundred and twenty believers were engaged in prayer, they all became aware of a strange presence in the room. At the same time these disciples all became conscious of a new and profound sense of spiritual joy, security, and confidence. This new consciousness of spiritual strength was immediately followed by a strong urge to go out and publicly proclaim the gospel of the kingdom and the good news that Jesus had risen from the dead.

(2059.2) 194:0.2 Peter stood up and declared that this must be the coming of the Spirit of Truth which the Master had promised them and proposed that they go to the temple and begin the proclamation of the good news committed to their hands. And they did just what Peter suggested.

(2059.3) 194:0.3 These men had been trained and instructed that the gospel which they should preach was the fatherhood of God and the sonship of man, but at just this moment of spiritual ecstasy and personal triumph, the best tidings, the greatest news, these men could think of was the fact of the risen Master. And so they went forth, endowed with power from on high, preaching glad tidings to the people — even salvation through Jesus — but they unintentionally stumbled into the error of substituting some of the facts associated with the gospel for the gospel message itself. Peter unwittingly led off in this mistake, and others followed after him on down to Paul, who created a new religion out of the new version of the good news.

(2059.4) 194:0.4 The gospel of the kingdom is: the fact of the fatherhood of God, coupled with the resultant truth of the sonship-brotherhood of men. Christianity, as it developed from that day, is: the fact of God as the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, in association with the experience of believer-fellowship with the risen and glorified Christ.

(2059.5) 194:0.5 It is not strange that these spirit-infused men should have seized upon this opportunity to express their feelings of triumph over the forces which had sought to destroy their Master and end the influence of his teachings. At such a time as this it was easier to remember their personal association with Jesus and to be thrilled with the assurance that the Master still lived, that their friendship had not ended, and that the spirit had indeed come upon them even as he had promised.

(2059.6) 194:0.6 These believers felt themselves suddenly translated into another world, a new existence of joy, power, and glory. The Master had told them the kingdom would come with power, and some of them thought they were beginning to discern what he meant.

(2059.7) 194:0.7 And when all of this is taken into consideration, it is not difficult to understand how these men came to preach a new gospel about Jesus in the place of their former message of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of men.

The above is, Cainos, "Trashed Junk Mail" from his Cosmic entities!

Hi Charity, as a matter of comparative religions here in the religion section on TOL we can consider some other ideas about the cross from the UB:

You, like your other pals; Freelight, and Zeke know nothing about
Spiritual matters! It would be best if you guys just shut off your
Laptops, and shut your mouths, as well! All that comes out of
your minds is, garbage!

When Adam and Eve sinned, God sacrificed animals to make skins for their clothing. They had fashioned clothing from leaves. They were covered. To God, it could not be paid without their death. As a symbol of their death, He sacrificed the lives of animals to make covering for their sin. That sacrifice symbolized Christ's Death in our place for sin. There are many, many symbols of His Sacrifice throughout Scripture. Jesus is The Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world. That's what John the Baptist announced when he baptized Jesus. Missing that single main theme of Christ's Life is missing the whole reason that He came to this earth in The Form of Flesh. It is missing eternal life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Every time a demonic doctrine is birthed, The Blood of Jesus is discounted and tossed aside. Urantia is no different than any other demonic doctrine since Satan first said: "Thou shalt not surely die."

The "crafty beast" was already fallen and evil when Adam and Eve materialized on the populated, evolved earth. Lucifer's "sin" had already occurred 150,000 years before A&E began their ministry on earth. The beast in Genesis is already working against Gods will, he tricked Eve.

35,000+ years after the fall of Adam & Eve the Hebrew priest wrote their scriptures based on the ancient oral traditions. They didn't have any way of knowing the earth was so old and evolved or that A&E were incarnate celestials.

What is appealing about the Urantia Book for me and others going forward is that it makes much more sense than the books put together by the Roman church to make the Bible.

In the UB Eves sin was mating with another to inject here superior genes into the human gene pool prematurely in order to speed up fixing the fallen earth.

Caligastia’s Plot

(840.3) 75:2.1 "Caligastia paid frequent visits to the Garden and held many conferences with Adam and Eve, but they were adamant to all his suggestions of compromise and short-cut adventures. They had before them enough of the results of rebellion to produce effective immunity against all such insinuating proposals. Even the young offspring of Adam were uninfluenced by the overtures of Daligastia. And of course neither Caligastia nor his associate had power to influence any individual against his will, much less to persuade the children of Adam to do wrong.

(840.4) 75:2.2 It must be remembered that Caligastia was still the titular Planetary Prince of Urantia, a misguided but nevertheless high Son of the local universe. He was not finally deposed until the times of Christ Michael on Urantia.

(840.5) 75:2.3 But the fallen Prince was persistent and determined. He soon gave up working on Adam and decided to try a wily flank attack on Eve. The evil one concluded that the only hope for success lay in the adroit employment of suitable persons belonging to the upper strata of the Nodite group, the descendants of his onetime corporeal-staff associates. And the plans were accordingly laid for entrapping the mother of the violet race.

(840.6) 75:2.4 It was farthest from Eve’s intention ever to do anything which would militate against Adam’s plans or jeopardize their planetary trust. Knowing the tendency of woman to look upon immediate results rather than to plan farsightedly for more remote effects, the Melchizedeks, before departing, had especially enjoined Eve as to the peculiar dangers besetting their isolated position on the planet and had in particular warned her never to stray from the side of her mate, that is, to attempt no personal or secret methods of furthering their mutual undertakings. Eve had most scrupulously carried out these instructions for more than one hundred years, and it did not occur to her that any danger would attach to the increasingly private and confidential visits she was enjoying with a certain Nodite leader named Serapatatia. The whole affair developed so gradually and naturally that she was taken unawares.

(840.7) 75:2.5 The Garden dwellers had been in contact with the Nodites since the early days of Eden. From these mixed descendants of the defaulting members of Caligastia’s staff they had received much valuable help and co-operation, and through them the Edenic regime was now to meet its complete undoing and final overthrow." The Urantia Book is really far-fetched fiction, but holds no Truth, obviously.

The Urantia Book is much more appealing to me than the Bible, it makes more sense and doesn't say things like God can't defeat iron chariots and such. I believe the Old Testament is mostly exaggerated fiction on the part of the Jews who wrote it about themselves.

Jesus told us not to sew the new garments onto the old causing a worse tare. Many more people might come to the original gospel of Jesus if they didn't have to contend with the stories of the people who rejected and killed Jesus.

Matt 9:16-17. "But no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear results. Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved."

Connecting the original Liberal gospel of Jesus onto primitive Judaism has caused confusion and failure.

Good for you. Problem is: Jebus (the false god of the Urantia Book) doesn't exist.
Jesus told us not to sew the new garments onto the old causing a worse tare.
Jesus, of Nazareth, The One Who quoted from The Old Testament? Now you're going to listen to The Words of Jesus, after claiming to follow Jebus? What's wrong with this picture. Either you follow Him or you don't. You don't get to pick-and-choose.
Many more people might come to the original gospel of Jesus if they didn't have to contend with the stories of the people who rejected and killed Jesus.
Perhaps God should have consulted with you before He set about His Plan of the Ages?

Trying to justify trampling Jesus' Blood under your feet is what causes your confusion. You claim to hold to His Words but commit the worst sin of all: blasphemy. Sad.

I hope to post daily thoughts from the UB to stimulate dialog as we have entered a new era of enlightenment.

I am a life long student of the book and come from a family of UB readers.

You are believing this book foolishly. Why say we are in a 'new age of enlightenment' when the mind required for understanding the 'old age' has not been appropriated for understanding by those who write such books and for those who seek another easier way, who willfully reject major parts of the scriptures that are the enablement for understanding God? Philosophies and secret messages be damned! Learn Jesus Christ for the soul purpose of knowing God as He knew Him! Why the desire to embrace the way of the agnostic except for a self-righteousness that ends in death spritual?

Every prophet of new truth or revelation has had to face persecution from the older, primitive religious beliefs. The Jews persecuted the Christians and the Christians will persecute the UB people.

The UB is defiantly not an easier, softer way. The Pharisees made all the same accusations towards Jesus that fear riddled people will make against this new revelation.

These people here have never read the UB so they teach in stupidity.

Jesus chose true things from the Old Testament but not the untrue parts. Jesus knew that the OT was written by men, he had common sense as well as being God incarnate. Jesus didn't come to reform man made Judaism, he came to reveal his new religion.

To compare our religion to Bible worship:

The Positive Nature of Jesus’ Religion

(1769.3) 159:5.1 "At Philadelphia, where James was working, Jesus taught the disciples about the positive nature of the gospel of the kingdom. When, in the course of his remarks, he intimated that some parts of the Scripture were more truth-containing than others and admonished his hearers to feed their souls upon the best of the spiritual food, James interrupted the Master, asking: “Would you be good enough, Master, to suggest to us how we may choose the better passages from the Scriptures for our personal edification?” And Jesus replied: “Yes, James, when you read the Scriptures look for those eternally true and divinely beautiful teachings, such as:

(1769.4) 159:5.2 “Create in me a clean heart, O Lord.

(1769.5) 159:5.3 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

(1769.6) 159:5.4 “You should love your neighbor as yourself.

(1769.7) 159:5.5 “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying, fear not; I will help you.

(1769.8) 159:5.6 “Neither shall the nations learn war any more.”

(1769.9) 159:5.7 And this is illustrative of the way Jesus, day by day, appropriated the cream of the Hebrew scriptures for the instruction of his followers and for inclusion in the teachings of the new gospel of the kingdom. Other religions had suggested the thought of the nearness of God to man, but Jesus made the care of God for man like the solicitude of a loving father for the welfare of his dependent children and then made this teaching the cornerstone of his religion. And thus did the doctrine of the fatherhood of God make imperative the practice of the brotherhood of man. The worship of God and the service of man became the sum and substance of his religion. Jesus took the best of the Jewish religion and translated it to a worthy setting in the new teachings of the gospel of the kingdom."

So sure, Jesus used true and beautiful things from the scripture but not like talking donkey's or iron chariots that were stronger than God????? Come on people, it's just common sense, stop battling me on these silly things, don't you get it????

He said every single letter and stroke of the pen would not pass until all be fulfilled. Which part(s) do you believe He meant was un-true?
Jesus knew that the OT was written by men, he had common sense as well as being God incarnate.
He's The One Who inspired every stroke of the pen. Every jot and tittle.
Jesus didn't come to reform man made Judaism, he came to reveal his new religion.
He came to explain what was meant by the Old Testament and to provide a new and even better covenant.

Because you don't believe His Word you find fault with ALL of It, and try to follow your false god that doesn't even exist. Makes sense. NOT!!!
Come on people, it's just common sense, stop battling me on these silly things, don't you get it?
I get it... you don't have enough sense to trust God or His Word. You need the words of a demon to make your itching ears feel better.

I don't believe your religion of book worship wherein God is said to have written every word of the conflicting Bible.

But Jesus was right in that the law is still there but even the Jews don't practice what they tried to convict Jesus with.

Jesus was being tactful and diplomatic with the legalistic Jews who tried to trap him with the so called "Law".
