The Gospel Verses Predestination

Really, they were chosen as a people? You want to tell that to Abraham and later to Jacob (Israel) as well as Esau?
We Christians are told that we are the people under the promise. We are the Israel of God. Read your Bible some time!

There you go making assumptions again. Perhaps that's what you do when you're reading Scriptures? That might be the reason why you misinterpret those same Scriptures?

God chose the nation of Israel, prophets, patriarchs, wise men, apostles, for the sole purpose of making known to the world the savior of the world his son Jesus Christ. There is no election without a purpose. God does not randomly elect people, the reason being is that God is not a respecter of any ones person, Acts 10:34.

Everything that God does he does corporately. Example.

"Therefore by the offense of one (Adam) judgment came upon all men to condemnation" Romans 5:18.

One man brought sin into the world, by one man many are condemned. Here is the good news.

"Even so by the righteousness of one (Jesus Christ) the free gift came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life" Romans 5:18.

One man brings sin into the world. One man brings righteousness and eternal life.

It is not our fault that we are born into sin, but its our fault if we don't take Christ as our savior.

Israel was elected as a people, not as individuals. Individual people could be exiled from Israel and cast out into the wilderness. Israel was predestined for a certain role but no individual person was forced into that role.

Besides this, when Israel was a chosen people, this did not guarantee any ultimate salvation. They had a certain role to play, and they were chosen for this role. They were the physical line of the messiah, they were selected to carry the scriptures.

If Calvinism would be more careful with the reading of the scriptures, they would notice that the saints are likewise predestined for glory, but that the body of Christ is that of which we might become members, not some list drawn up "before time began" without regard of faith and repentance.

Abraham is (the father of faith) and father of many nations. (then and NOW)
Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as Righteousness. (Galatians 3:6)
God promised Abraham a land for his descendants. Abraham had Isaac, Isaac had two sons
Esau and Jacob. Jacob received the blessing from Isaac and the lineage came down to Jesus
Christ. (The Savior).

Jacob had 12 sons that subsequently became the 12 tribes of Israel. Israel was placed into bondage by Egypt and Moses (by the hand of God) delivers them from out of the bondage of Egypt to the wilderness in order to know Him and worship Him.

Moses receives the 10 Commandments from God in order to modify their behaviors so
they could have peace among themselves and have peace with God. While in the wilderness
some of the people chose not to follow Moses (and God) they became rebellious and unbelieving.
The people who chose not to follow God and Moses, were cast out of the assembly.(community). Those people died very quickly due to their rebellious spirit and unbelieving hearts.

The people of Israel had a choice to follow and be blessed or to go their own way. Those who
followed were blessed and enjoyed the “land of milk and honey” instead of BONDAGE. The Bible states in Romans 11:26 "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:"

Today the same choice is given, believe God and follow him through his Son, Jesus Christ our Savior, and be blessed and inherit Eternal life. or rebel and refuse to believe God and on His Son, and be cast into the 'Lake of Fire' along with the Devil (Who represents rebellion and unbelief) and his angels (those who inspire people today to rebel and to not believe GOD.)

You still don't believe that Christ death saved them He died for.

I believe this and you should too.

"And he is a propitiation for our sins: and not ours only, but also for the SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD" 1 John 2:2

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD" 1 John 4:14.

I believe God's word. You believe the words of a heretic.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

Instead you believe the words of a heretic.

Poor blind fool. You reject the gift of God and instead embrace the words of a heretic.

"...even so by the righteousness of one (Christ) THE FREE GIFT came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life" Romans 5:18.

The term "all" in this particular verse means all without distinction rather than all without exception.

When u teach that sinners Christ died for are lost, you deny His Saving Blood !

God will be surprised to hear that. Maybe you can explain it to him in the judgment.

"... that he (Jesus) by the grace of God should taste death for EVERYONE" Hebrews 2:9.

You just happen to be one of them. Jesus died for you, but you can't receive the free gift of salvation that he has provided for you. Instead, you want to be predestinated. Not going to happen.

"But as many as RECEIVED HIM, to them gave he the power to become the Sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE upon his name" John 1:12.

How many receive God's grace?
How many believe?
How many has Jesus (the Logos) given the power to be Sons of God?
Does John 1:12 say that all of the above happens by the human will power?
Does John 1 say that the Logos does all of the above?
RP, look at the context of John 1, because you are imagining John is saying one thing when in fact John is speaking against your interpretation.

To whom is the writer speaking in Hebrews. Is he speaking to all mankind in his letter or is he speaking to Jewish Christians?
Does Jesus taste death for everyone of the Christians to whom the writer is addressing?
RP, once again the context of the writing shouts out at you to tell you your interpretation is wrong.

I've noticed you have difficulty with understanding scriptures and that is because you have no idea what words actually mean in the context they are given.

John is speaking against himself?

The interpretation can be made by a five year old. You have a lot of trouble with the Bible, don't you?
