Jesus brought grace and truth in the fullness of time, for Jews. They rejected et all
John: 1 King James Version (KJV)
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
The ten commandments were given for the following temporal reason:
Romans: 3 KJV N.T.
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
The above was the reality among the Jews when Moses was called to lead them. This is why the ten commandments were given to Jews. Also Moses fool-up the Jews into believing that ten commandments are absolute laws from God. This was done so that the Jews will obey these laws out of fear of God.
Moses did not tell the Jews that the law are only for temporal use. The ten commandments were for use until they become spiritually aware and can be healed by the Spirit of Jesus/Spirit of Truth. Then they were to totally drop these laws.
Moses fool-up the Jews, in order to mange them and their unruly fearless behavior.
2 Corinthians:3 KJV N.T.
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
(The ten commandments were to be totally abolished, eventually and replace by the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Under the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus one has freedom, liberty, justification and instructions to transgress the ten commandments so as to serve spirit/love)
However when Moses gave the law, it was different. The Jews were not given to know truth and grace.
John: 1 King James Version (KJV)
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Eventually, the fullness of time came. It became time for the Jews to know truth. They had to be told that the ten commandment applied to only them. They had to be told that the ten commandments were not absolute laws from God. They had to be told that the ten commandments had became their curse. They had to be told that they had become stuck (in sin, death and delivery into hell) because they were not told that the ten commandments were for temporal use, until they came onto the faith and Christ:
Romans: 3 KJV N.T.
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Galatians: 3 King James Version (KJV)
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
John: 1 King James Version (KJV)
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Fact is, the ten commandments did not define God's morality. Moses did not bring grace and truth. Only Jesus brough grace and truth. The following 'stand on its own' statement which came directly from the Lord Jesus, defines God's morality:
Romans: 14 King James Version (KJV)
14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean
This is why righteousness of God that is with the ten commandments had to be done away with and replaced with righteousness of God that is without the ten commandments. It was time to end delusion for Jews. Of course the Jews rejected grace and truth. And continued under the ten commandments.
There is no avoiding sin, death and hell for those who esteem, use, invoke and promote the ten commandment even in the slightest way. They all fall short of the glory of God. This is the curse of the the ten commandments which are described as the laws of sin, death and delivery to hell.
However if one totally abandon the ten commandments and embrace righteousness of God that is without the ten commandments one gets no sin when one transgress the ten commandments. Righteousness of God that is without the ten commandments is the law of the the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Under this new spirit and Spirit based law one has God given freedom, liberty, justification and instructions to transgress the ten commandments and not get sin . . . but instead be glorified by God:
Romans: 8 King James Version (KJV)
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
The above is the good reason for manifesting righteousness of God without the ten commandments. The manifesting of righteousness of God without the ten commandments is the Spirit of Jesus/Spirit of Truth in a physical human body:
Roman: 3 KJV N.T.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" is linked to "Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law"
Only those who are under the law can sin and come short of the glory of God because where no law is, there is no transgression.
Romans: 4 KJV N.T.
15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression
There are two way to be under the influence of the ten commandments. The Jews are under the ten commandments because Moses told them that those are God's laws.
For Gentiles the ten commandments are not 'laws from God'. However some Gentiles impose similar laws on themselves because of their own conscience:
Romans: 2 KJV N.T.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
However there are others who are not under the likes of the ten commandments, either by Moses or by conscience. Among these are those who are led by the Spirit of Jesus/Spirit of Truth:
Romans: 4 KJV N.T.
15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression
Those who esteem, use, invoke and promote the ten commandments are all in the flesh. And no flesh can be or shall be justified in his sight. Note that only those in the flesh are held under the ten commandments:
Roman: 7 KJV N.T.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
And only those who are under the ten commandments sin and fall short of the glory of God, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
It is very high time that the Jews stop posting foolishness and totally drop Moses and the law (i.e. the Old sin, death and delivery to hell system) and totally and fully embrace Jesus, grace and truth (the New sinless, life giving and delivery to heaven system) . . . because:
John: 1 King James Version (KJV)
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
And because Moses fool-up the Jews, in order to mange them and their unruly fearless behavior.
