a clerical problem that can't be talked about because there are too many homosexual priests and bishops. We have to learn to live with them. We have to make them comfortable. We have to at least be silent about it. No gossip. We have to pray that the problem will somehow go away.

It was disappointing but not a surprise that Pope Francis decided not to respond to the Amazon synod's recommendation that the Catholic Church ordain mature, married men to make up for the huge shortage of priests in the Amazon region. Francis did not say yes to married priests, but neither did he really say no. Discussion of the matter will continue, whereas previous papacies said no to even discussing the topic.

Yup perhaps changing both times and laws so early on was NOT for the best is why it was WARNED against by the “first pope”
maybe they should have taken their cues from the first council that stuck to scripture and not make NEW tradition...
