Sometimes the Girl Will Not Take it Anymore

I am thinking up a country song, with the video in my head, about a poor girl who gets abused by her slacker abusive husband.

Sometimes the girl will not take it anymore,
You better get to movin out the door,
because sometimes the girl will not take it anymore.
You beat her whenever you feel sore and mad
You think she is scared and very sad,
and you think you will break her,
but what you do not know,
you break her down, her love goes, and you end up on a bloody floor,
because you did break her, and now the girl cannot take it anymore.

yes, it is in my head, so, ???
It goes like a country song

You nev-er treat her kind,
and you think she does not mind,
yet her heart is breaking evermore,

Do you have a melody for the lyrics?

You have to make it like a song. Country songs are a good start.

I used to write songs years back and some sold. it was not my main business, just a hobby.

I like your lyrics a lot, Kat. How wonderful to be able to write songs. Some of the best storytelling and poetry I've ever read (heard) has been in songs.

Isn't that every country song written by a woman?

Female country artists don't usually write about abuse, no.

Adrian Rogers did not recommend men listen to country music. He believed it promoted adultery and drunkenness (Eccl 10:2, Jn 10:10, Is. 49:26).

"Adultery—sexual intercourse outside marriage. Defined: In God’s Law (Ex. 20:14), By Christ (Matt. 5:28, 32), In mental attitude (Matt. 5:28), As a work of the flesh (Gal. 5:19). Sin of: Breaks God’s Law (Deut. 5:18), Punishable by death (Lev. 20:10–12), Brings death (Prov. 2:18, 19), Makes one poor (Prov. 29:3), Produces moral insensibility (Prov. 30:20; 2 Cor. 12:21), Corrupts a land (Hos. 4:1–3)...Excludes from Christian fellowship (1 Cor. 5:1–13), Excludes from God’s kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9, 10), Merits God’s judgments (Heb. 13:4), Ends in hell (Prov. 7:27; Rev. 21:8), Forgiveness of, by: Man (Judg. 19:1–4), Christ (John 8:10, 11), Repentance (2 Sam. 12:7–14), Regeneration (1 Cor. 6:9–11). Drunkenness—state of intoxication. Evils of: Debases (Gen. 9:21, 22), Provokes brawling (Prov. 20:1), Poverty (Prov. 23:21), Perverts justice (Is. 5:22, 23), Confuses the mind (Is. 28:7), Licentiousness (Rom. 13:13), Disorderliness (Matt. 24:48–51), Hinders watchfulness (1 Thess. 5:6, 7).
