Are you still playing around with your servers and hosting companies?
I lost all ability to connect to the site last night for quite a few hours. The reason being is that www.theologyonline.com would not resolve to an IP address. I tried whois and a few other sources that resolve domain names and the domain name simply wasn't registered with anyone for a period of several hours.
This morning now the name is resolveable again. If you aren't playing with your domain name registration someone else seems to be.
I would have just suspected my ISP's dns servers, but I also have a couple of commercial tools for resolving domain names, and neither of those tools could resolve the name either and they are not dependent on my ISP's dns servers. Both of those tools contact quite a few of internet domain registrars and theologyonline.com simply wasn't to be found.

We are still trying to track down the issue as to why we lose http services on his new server.
I am strongly considering a new host but that is a ton of work and I don't want to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I think you may have misunderstood what I said.
It's not that I got any 404, 500, server not found, or server busy messages when attempting to log on. www.theologyonline.com simply couldn't be found to even attempt to log on to. It didn't exist in the Internet domain naming system. It was as if you had never registered this site, as if it had never existed on the internet. The only clue there was on the internet that this site ever existed was on Google. It wasn't a loss of http services as in the server not being available for a while. All traces of the site had disappeared.
Well... e-mail and ftp services still work just fine when the http is not functioning so I highly doubt its a domain name thing.
But hey....
It's the internet... ya never know!

Actually, last night, my TOL mail was out too. My e-mail server said that "mail.theologyonline.com could not be found."
That might have been when I tried to reboot the server remotely and everything failed!
