i recommend it - it's dense and long, but covers a period of american history that's been pivotal for me - i was 13 in 1973, the summer of the watergate hearings, a conservative by tendency even then, and destined to be soured on politics at an early age
never had much interest in the reagan presidency - it coincided with a period of my life when i was dating my future wife, building my career, newly married, first home-ownership, etc
