The words law and religion basically mean the same thing. When one is doing the law they are doing their religion. When one is doing their religion they are doing the law.

"Knowing this that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified, Gal. 2:16. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin, Rom. 3:20. Tell me that you desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? Gal. 4:21. For as many as are under the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written cursed is everyone, that does not continue in all things that are written in the book of the law to do them, Gal. 3:10. Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murders of fathers and mothers, for manslayers, 1 Tim.1:9.

Christ has become no effect unto you, whosoever you are justified by the law; you are fallen from grace, Gal. 5:4. Because the law works wrath: for where no law is there is no transgression, Ro. 4:15. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of the Spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter, Ro. 7:6. For the letter kills , but the spirit gives life, 2 Cor. 3:6.

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in the ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace, Eph. 2:15. Blotting out the hand writing of ordinances that was against us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross, Col. 2:14. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes, Ro. 10:4. Where is boasting then? it is excluded, by what law? of works? No: but by the law of faith, Ro. 3:27. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law, Ro. 3:28. It is of faith that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not only to that which is of the law, but to that also which is of the seed of Abraham; who is the father of us all, Ro. 4:16."

We are to establish Law...it is not made void by Faith...

The law we establish establishes the One we follow...everywhere we go into ALL NATIONS

Study the fruit it reveals the root...

Peter is also quite clear “We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who OBEY Him.”

Did you catch that Bobbie? Not just believe or have faith BUT OBEY...obey Whom and WHAT?

And to those MAD this is PETER talking about the Holy Spirt given NOT TO JUST JEWS but THOSE WHO OBEY HIM...

You can repeat this a thousand times in a hundred threads, and it still won't be true. You have your own personal definition of the word "religion"- which, as far as I can tell, is "what everybody except for me has".

Nearly all religions have rules or laws. Some Christian sects don't, but many do. Redefining "religion" as a nasty word meaning law (as if there is something wrong with law!) is silly.

What drives you to this endless patting yourself on the back, anyhow?

Christians establish the law by faith in Christ and his Gospel. All that are "In Christ" are perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10. God sees them as established in the law.

It is not possible for you to obey or keep the law because you are born after Adam, Romans 5:12.

The word of God still stands.

"By the works of the law (religion) no flesh will be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin" Romans 3:20.

The only way that anyone is going to be saved is by faith in Christ and his Gospel, Romans 8:1.

According to multiple posts by you

There is no more law...abolished at the cross

You contradict yourself here...

How can we know we are IN HIM and established in the law if there is no more law?

Instead of trying to win friends you should be reading your Bible and getting saved.

Instead of deleting 3/4 of the bible, which you admit, on record, that you do,replacing words with your own, adding words, which you admit, on record, that you do, spamming verses in isolation, you should get off this sight, as you admit that you pervert the gospel of Christ, wolf, denying that Christ died for our sins, which you admit, on record, and you don't have the authority to tell any member of the boc, such as myself, to get saved, you child of the devil.

Win friends, this dementia ridden clown quips, coming from this demon, who, on record, asserts that He is the only TOL member that believes the bible, and only TOL member who is saved.

You satanic shill.

No, according to the word of God the law has been abolished for the Christian. You are not able to receive this truth because the veil is on your heart, 2 Corinthians 3:13-17.

You satanic shill.

I know that I am saved. I have tried your spirit and have found that it is not of God, 1 John 4:1.

You are not able to receive the truth of the scriptures because you are a religious reprobate. Spiritually dead as a rock.

Salvation always has been and always will be by faith. You are not "In Christ" instead you are under God's wrath, Romans 4:15.

When we are keeping God's law, then we are serving God.

Whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein,
he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work,
this man shall be blessed in his deed.
If any man among you seem to be religious,
and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart,
this man's religion is vain.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

James 1:25-27

The book of James is one of the first books of the New Testament. When James wrote the book he was ignorant of the Gospel and justification by faith. I am sure that he came into a full understand of Paul's Gospel at a later date.

Notice in Galatians 1:12 that James sent men to spy on Peter to see if he was eating with Gentiles. A Jewish no, no. Later on James wanted to circumcise some Gentile believers, Acts 15:1-22.

The Holy Spirit is given to those who live by faith, Romans 8:1,2. You can't obey because you are born after Adam, Romans 5:12. The only thing that pleases God is faith in his Son Jesus Christ.
