Paid propagandists

After being a participant in several what used to be called discussion boards, I'm convinced everybody is not your run of the mill amateur debater who does it on their spare time.

The left has a vast network of organizations who work diligently to promote progressivism and / or statism/ or democratic socialism. It may not be their stated purpose to ensure they maintain non profit tax free status but it is certainly a mainstay of what they do.

I'm not sure if one organization is responsible for propaganda on public websites or if it is the shared responsibility of the progressive/ establishment.

The mainstream media does the Lions share but it now has little to no credibility except to the Rachel Maddow types.

I think early on as the MSM began to lose their grip on the public mind and as the internet began to take hold, the left began to use "trolls" to push the progressive agenda. There are some people on TOL for instant who spend enormous amounts of time here and always have a ready link available to reply to reach and every point brought forward.

Although these trolls probably have enough incentive to do their work without pay, their work is way too thorough and detailed and their posts extremely lengthy that I feel they are being paid to do so.

2. It's hilarious that he "feels" that "some people on TOL" are paid, rather than just having an interest in politics and in facts.

3. It's more hilarious that because these "some people" are "way too thorough and detailed" and provide "ready links" that he "feels" they're "trolls."

You see nothing abnormal about how thorough and detailed some peoples posts consistently are and the speed with which they provide just the right link on any issue?

This is not knocking the novice at all. It tells me they are putting a normal amount of energy and a level of knowledge that one would expect from even the most articulate and bright among us.

But it seems beyond the realm of possibility that leftists with disposable income would dare to pay effective propagandists to give their narratives the respectability the MSM used to effectively do alone ?

I don't really think this is the thread to discuss it. I just wanted to show you were mistaken. But I will say that Russian trolls was a small part of the Russian efforts in 2016.
