So how is the next thread going? The second death is mentioned four times in the Apocalypse and nowhere else in the bible. The meaning should be obvious. If the first death is the death of the body, then the second one should be the death of the soul. We should only fear Him who can "kill the soul" which is mentioned only once in the bible.
Why doesn't anyone talk about this?
I can only speculate about that.
Isn't that all you can do?
Ow!
It's the truth.
Why is it borderline Gnosticism? In case anyone is paying any attention at all the chrysostom's nonsense. This doctrine of his undermines the veracity of the scripture to such a degree that it would probably get him kicked out of the Catholic church if anyone important discovered that he was here promulgating something as wildly unorthodox as the notion that the Apocalypse originally was written by John the Baptist and was later altered multiple times to eventually include Jesus and the seven churches.
I mean, WOW! That isn't just a little bit outside the pale of orthodoxy, that's borderline Gnosticism!
Schizophrenic to boot!He is consistently and proudly irrational and illogical.
You could start the next thread with 666.So how is the next thread going?
Still working on the title.
Why?
Don't know whose names to put in.
You only need three.
Which three?
Clete, Idolater, and Annabenedetti.
Thanks
Okay, now can you show how Nero fits in with the rest of the Apocalypse?Caesar Nero when spelled using Hebrew letters which were also equal to numbers equals 666

Do you agree that 666 is associated with the second beast with ten horns that replaced the one with seven heads?Under Nero both Peter and Paul were put to death, in Rome.
Thank you for the question. Constantine created the Byzantine Empire that would last a thousand years and ended up protecting Rome.QUESTION: Chrysostom, why do you say Constantine instead of Charlemagne?
You'd better let Wikipedia know about that: Byzantine Empire 330–1453Thank you for the question. Constantine created the Byzantine Empire that would last a thousand years and ended up protecting Rome.
We don't know Peter's fate. As his bone box is at the Mount of Olives, as we would expect. I have no reason to believe the Romans would let them live after the siege.Under Nero both Peter and Paul were put to death, in Rome.
