Matthew 11:30 KJV - For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.
It is a different statement from an equally valuable statement

All of this to say that if you understand all of Jesus' words you understand not only that God wants you to obey His own commandments in His Son Jesus Christ, and to obey the Commandments of Jesus which are the Word and Commandments of God, but that in understanding that we are to love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our might and to love your neighbor as yourself, we know also that God cares about you.

For He sent His Son to teach you how to live and to die for your sins that you would be forgiven and granted the free gift of eternal life.

His yoke is easy because He has already done absolutely everything required for your salvation. There nothing that you can do, no law that you can keep, no prayer that you can say, no church you can attend that can do more for you than He has already done. So His yoke is love. Since there is nothing more you can do for your your salvation you are free to love all those around you. You don't need to judge them, you just need to care for them as you would care for yourself.
Jesus said to love God with everything you've got and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Jesus says many, many thing that it is hard to practice if we are carnally minded.
With regard to the Pharisaical tradition, Jesus said, "For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers." (Matthew 23:4)
Hypocrisy.
Jesus teachings are holy and peace loving.
If we practice otherwise, we are being a hypocrite since we claim to be His followers..
If you see heavy burdens and do nothing then you are a Pharisee

Wow what you say is so wrong. Jesus is love. His words are love. No one even knows how to love sincerely if they are not doing it the way Jesus says.
Do you not know 'yoke' means servant/slave to Jesus?
Jesus has a yoke for us and it is light and easy and not burdensome, but it is still a yoke and things we are to do.
A yoke signifies ownership and purpose...It separates one from the others and makes the animal useful to the owner’s intentions...
A lot of yada yada yada about love and liberty occurs but never the less the yoke remains.
We are bought thus we no longer are our previous selves...we have been domesticated and have One master...
Our love is not the love of the world or as pagans love each other but a Love as our Master loved us...JUST AS He not only taught but demonstrated...to abide in His Love...
Our freedom is to live...NOT as we used to do wandering aimlessly around the streets of town like those Indian cows...OR LIKE THE WORLD...but we are PECULIAR...set aside made Holy to keep Holy Holy things...all of it the Work to do and places to stay and be fed and cared for...says so right there on our yoke
His stable His Farm His harvest...
What manner of Work? His Will His Way...good works to glorify Him in heaven...
Oh and we want to do this work because we were chosen bought and given the yoke...not to earn it...
We represent Him with it...the yoke and the work
He comes His reward with Him...May we hear “well done good and faithful servant”...

The Malak of YHWH encamps roundabout those who fear Him, and delivers them: taste, and see, that Yah is Chrestos.
So you are one of those that believes that Jesus didn't do enough to buy your salvation, that there is more you must do to be saved. Sad.

Jesus' words don't die or change.
He saves whomever he wants to save, and he says he chooses those who obey.
Obey what? Jesus's commandments. What were His commandments? Love God and Love each other.
