1. I dont have a side..

Oh, you definitely have a side.

2. What rights has trump taken away from you? Be specific...

That's not what I said though, is it? I said: "Your" side is willfully blind to the damage Trump and his administration are doing to our constitutional rights that "your" side claims to love and defend."

As long as "your" side doesn't experience any personal damage, "your" side doesn't care about the constitutional rights of others being damaged. Asylum seekers have rights under the Constitution. Trump's attacks on the press, the first amendment, fourth amendment, legal precedence and rule of law are a danger to every citizen. His attempts to circumvent the balance of power is a danger to every citizen. His attempts to limit rights based on religion are a danger to every citizen. His indifference to subpoenas, his instructions to his administration members to not cooperate with Congress - they clearly signal that he's an autocrat who considers himself above the law. The Constitution was written to protect us against a president like Trump, but I don't think the framers were anticipating the Senate would be enablers to autocracy.

That's an excellent beginning. And then there's the matter of his shady finances, the benefits he's gotten from foreign governments since becoming president. The Senate is worse, because they know better. I think Trump, well, I doubt right or wrong ever enters into it for him.

Trump's DOJ Grilled Dossier Author Christopher Steele And Found Him Credible

The author of a controversial dossier about Donald Trump and Russia has reportedly been found credible by the Department of Justice.

Politico reported on Tuesday that Christopher Steele had been grilled for 16 hours while the president visited London recently.
Steele was hired by Fusion GPS to conduct opposition research on Trump during the 2016 election. His work was first funded by a conservative activist before later being turned over to the Democratic National Committee and the FBI.From Politico:

The extensive, two-day interview took place in London while Trump was in Britain for a state visit, the sources said, and delved into Steele’s extensive work on Russian interference efforts globally, his intelligence-collection methods and his findings about Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, who the FBI ultimately surveilled. The FBI’s decision to seek a surveillance warrant against Page — a warrant they applied for and obtained after Page had already left the campaign — is the chief focus of the probe by Horowitz.
The interview was contentious at first, the sources added, but investigators ultimately found Steele’s testimony credible and even surprising. The takeaway has irked some U.S. officials interviewed as part of the probe — they argue that it shouldn’t have taken a foreign national to convince the inspector general that the FBI acted properly in 2016. Steele’s American lawyer was present for the conversation.

According to Reuters, Inspector General Michael Horowitz found Steele’s testimony compelling enough to extend an investigation into whether the FBI acted properly by using the dossier to obtain court permission for surveillance on the Trump campaign. Republicans have insisted that the use of the dossier was improper.

Day 906 of the Trump presidency - will this be the day the left finally gets around to impeaching him?

So trump tweeted something retarded, and the retarded Democrats in the HoR denounced it as "racist"

Is this finally it? The impeachable offense?

And the answer is no, the house voted overwhelmingly not to proceed with impeachment over a post made on social media, because it's just too close to the 2020 election for America to realize they're all retards

Good call

A majority of self-described American voters surveyed in a new INSIDER poll agreed with Republican Rep. Justin Amash that President Donald Trump "committed impeachable offenses."

Among respondents who said they were registered to vote, 54% agreed.

Amash is the first Republican lawmaker to call for Trump's impeachment based on Robert Mueller's findings in the special counsel's Russia investigation.

In the wake of Mueller's report, and of a news conference the former FBI director gave last week, calls for Trump's impeachment have grown steadily louder.

House Democrats have been pumping the brakes on impeachment out of fear of political backlash. But mounting public support for the move could lead to a shift in Democrats' strategy.

It's a majority, but not a very large majority. Peolosi no doubt remembers what happened to the republicans in Congress when most Americans didn't think Bill Clinton had committed an impeachable offense, but impeached him anyway.

The offense was lying, BTW. Allegedly under oath although the judge in the case didn't think so.

Imagine how many articles of impeachment there would be if democrats thought Trump lying was impeachable...

So this is going to be it, finally?

This is going to be what it takes to start the impeachment process?
