Liberals have it made in the 2016 election

I am not a Rubio fan at all but, I really am pulling for Cruz, I hope he will be able to weather the attacks from the establishment & Trump to stay in contention.

I can't stand Cruz and don't think he has a chance in the general election....the likeability factor isn't there. His policies are alright, but he is far from genuine and I think people see that. No chance.

I like Rubio and think more people would vote for him. BUT, I don't think any of them but Trump stands a chance of winning the general, so I'd rather take my chances with Trump than with Clinton or Sanders.

Men with principles rarely are liked, at least not by the RINO Establishment that's been running the show for decades, (not to mention their liberal allies on the other side of the aisle).

His policies are alright,...

If you can't stand Ted Cruz, you shouldn't be able to "stand" his policies either.

but he is far from genuine and I think people see that.

Refer to my above comment about the RINO Establishment and their liberal allies.

No chance.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Ted Cruz is organized, he has that going for him even though he has to deal with that alleged "likability factor".

I like Rubio and think more people would vote for him.

The RINO Establishment would love to see Rubio as POTUS. If you can make a case showing that he's a conservative, I'd love to see it.

At least you know what you'd be getting with Clinton or Sanders (liberalism). Be very worried about liberal/Libertarian such as Donald Trump pretending to be a conservative.

It's more than likely that liberals will have a candidate winning the nominations for both parties.

Trump is a liberal

This video needs to be spread far and wide. It's about time somebody put a compilation like this together, and this one is very well done.

So why do you think Trump is really running for president? Is he just feeding his ego, or is he a foil for conservatives?

I agree except that I think Ted is a hypocrite. I can't stand people who pretend like they aren't attacking someone when they are. It tells me more than any policy he claims to support. :idunno:

He's working hard...no doubt about that.

I'm sure you know much more about that than I do. If the American electorate cared about such things, I'd say it would make a difference. Since Obama was elected twice, I've lost all faith in the majority of the voters. A young, cute, sweet Rubio might appeal if the top two take each other out or something unforeseen happens.

I honestly don't think Trump has thought much about politics or his positions on many issues in the past. But he does listen to advisers before he makes his decisions, and I think he wants America to be great again. The other two want socialism...that's much worse than anything Trump might have in mind. IMO

A young, cute, sweet Rubio...

These kind of adjectives concern me when used in the context of picking someone that is considered to hold the most powerful position in the world (if you're voting based on appearance, the election is going to be held Wednesday November 9th this year).

Seriously gd, educate yourself on the candidates. When I look at a candidates values, I think about what God's standard for sexual morality is (if they don't acknowledge one man, one woman, united in marriage as the only standard, then what makes you think that candidate can get other moral issues right?).

The young, cute, sweet guy is wrong on that and many other issues.

The aspirations of 18-year old Ted Cruz

If Ted Cruz should get the Republican Party nomination and between now and Nov 8 be reincarnated as an 18 year old, I'll have 2nd thoughts about voting for him.

(If an ultra liberal like UN is concerned about Ted Cruz, he's definitely our man).
