Is White Privilege Real?

Since you don't care one whit for them once they're born...."killin'" my vibe's the least of your affectations.

It's downright scary that you, and your fellow servants of Satan, consider your murder of unborn children to be "care" for them.

Here's what you're saying, you vicious, bloodthirsty, irrational, self-defeating, pagan beast: "If nobody cares for that child, we have a right to kill him or her! What the heck, we have a right to kill him or her in any case!"

Guess what, you drug-addled, irrationally-thinking clown: Murder is always evil and wrong, whether or not anybody "cares" for the intended murder-victim. You're simply one more God-despising miscreant who is pleased to call evil "good" and to call good "evil".

Also, your whole post amounts to no more than the particularly noxious fart that it is, inasmuch as you have not defined, and cannot define, and will not try to define, the scope of your meaningless phrase, "care one whit for them once they're born", you rotten pig hypocrite, lover of the murder of children.

Projecting again, Quip.

Well, I "projected" to you a question....I suppose I'm projecting inquisitive-ness :idunno:

You are guessing at things incorrectly.

How so?

BTW It wasn't a guess, it was an inquiry....but from the way you keep dodging things, my guess is...that my projection is not too far off.

I'm not sure that's correct. Patience affords an effect, it just takes longer than violence and flamboyant demonstration. I empathize with the idea of a 'hammer for a hard-head' but as an educator, patience 'can' win the day.

This is not a controlled classroom environment nor a couple of wayward students. This remains a nationwide issue from the era of MLK jr. while little has significantly changed, the call for patience has worn dangerously thin. Perhaps it's the contented and unaffected - who can afford a call for patience - who's "tree" needs to be stirred. This is your wake-up call Lon....so follow suit.

Nazi's surely 'won' for a few years, but 'what it won, what it cost,' and 'who was left out' are important concerns too.

Ahhh....Godwin's Law. ....quite telling by way of your defaulted nefarious correlation of the two. More animosity to deny?

Who's curently being "left out"?

What are the specific privileges one is given by simply being white, in present-day America?

Are there any at all?

And who, specifically, is giving those privileges to white people?
1) from 1870 to 2020 a total of 162 Black Americans have served in Congress - the vast majority since 1967

2) from 1877 to 1967 during the period known as "Jim Crow", the total number of Black Americans serving during any given session of Congress could be counted on 1 hand

3) at present there are only 2 Black Republicans serving in Congress - 1 in the House, 1 in the Senate

That's not an answer to the question asked.

From old cartoons and The Andy Griffith Show, I had been under the impression that goats would eat just about anything, from tin cans and car parts to sticks of dynamite. And some kids, I've heard, eat Tide Pods.

They're not just for kids anymore!

Good - Then we can agree that 50 years of civil rights policies and war against poverty spending has been a dismal failure. That our eight year experiment of electing an inexperienced and unqualified affirmative action Community Organizer-In-Chief has been a dismal failure. Perhaps once we can agree on those we can move past the nonsense of not being able to talk about the poor choices made by those who are now violently impatient.

... the call for patience has worn dangerously thin.

As has the patience of those who have been watching the violence, the burning, the murders.

Who's curently being "left out"?

Those who have rejected the values that have served us well for thousands of years.

I'm glad you finally concede there's a racial problem in America.:BRAVO:

Legislation and government programs though cannot change hearts and minds....it takes a collective commitment. If anything, the commitment has been largely favoring anywhere from apathetic indifference to passionate resentment, hatred and resistance by average town-n'-country white folks. (Red State America)

Trust me, I hear the hate daily...I live and work there. The ignorance is astounding.

As has the patience of those who have been watching the violence, the burning, the murders.

My heart bleeds for you (dime/dozen) armchair-anti-social-justice cranks.

Contemporarily interpreted as.....White systematic privileges.

In the same way "Do I still beat my wife" would have been a projecting question. Yes.

How so?

:) You like answering your own questions. I'm not sure if you get this, but I'm pretty sure you 'can' get it. Its like you are asking me questions about a movie I never watched and thinking I somehow watched it with you in the same room.

For contrast, remember when the gunman killed the Amish children? The article has it right, the shock of the country was how forgiving the community was. It overshadowed the violence. Did the gunman, with violence, get attention? Surely, but his message and he himself are overshadowed by the incredible grace of that community.

You missed the point. It wasn't a comparison of 'you' to nazi's. It was saying that might doesn't make right  You are being purposefully inept on this one (at least reactionary instead of thinking things out before response).

Who's curently being "left out"?
You can either begrudge society for "Christmas" (by example) or you can be happy for them. If I lived in Israel during Hanukkah? Why would that bother me? Why would I need them to take down menorah's? :dizzy: I don't/wouldn't feel left out. I'd realize it was a celebration with no intention of 'slighting' me, just celebrating together as the mass and main group they are. If I 'feel left out' that's all on me. In America? More so and the only guideline is to ensure it doesn't harm another. Ex. we look the other way on the 4th of July with illegal fireworks, but I guess once a year can be a GOOD exercise in longsuffering until after midnight (I simply use earplugs if I have to work the next day).

And there you have it. You're not gonna persuade me otherwise, I'm not going to persuade you otherwise.

I don't expect either.

Like all too many things we have absolutely zero common ground. Because your starting point rejects God.

You've twisted your politics into your religion so much that you've made the Constitution and God mutually exclusive.

No. It wasn't a loaded question...just an observation via your posts. You could have easily gave me answers to the contrary yet, you persisted with your "projection" line.

I never thought I was in your equation at all. Rather you are comparing BLM to Nazism.....a ridiculous exaggeration at best.

Christmas? Menorahs?
Is there a point to your irrelevant ramblings?
