CBS News is a hostile witness here to the government. They're a left-leaning broadcast network, yet they published an article confirming what the government said about the agent.
You may not know that CBS news is now a Trump-appeasing network, which is why they scrubbed the 60 Minutes CECOT piece.

And now you know that no, it doesn't.
And since when do you ascribe "tremendous credence" to a source you'd normally deride and dismiss?
And now CBS lends tremendous credence? When they tell you what you want to hear?
I'm asking you to stop for a moment and think about that.
They could have put the Trump administration on blast, calling them out for spreading misinformation. But they didn't. They reported that he was injured. How was he injured, if not by being struck by that woman?
You claim to be "balanced," or however you want to put it, yet people who are further left than where you claim to be are saying that the agent was injured and now suffers from internal bleeding.
And they're not further left, are they? They won't be putting the Trump administration on blast or they wouldn't have killed the CECOT piece, among other things. They have a Trump loyalist as their ombudsman, telling them what's allowed. Follow the money.
You could argue that they're controlled by the government, of course, but that's conspiracy theory territory. Surely you're not a conspiracy theorist, are you?
Is this where you preemptively dismiss the above non-conspiratorial facts I just gave you about the current CBS trajectory? Does that mean you're already aware that today's CBS isn't your father's or grandfather's CBS?
If you want to call their story into question, that's fine, just realize that you look really stupid in doing so, and it ruins your already incredibly low credibility.
Your consideration of me isn't even remotely in my field of focus, JR. Surely you must realize that by now. All I'm interested in is hoping that one day you'll step outside X and YouTube for your information, and in the process understand those platforms for what they are.
