The crime rate of immigrants is far lower than the general population, so they're statistically skewed, and from what I did see, very racist.

The point, since you clearly missed it, is that illegals here in the US are making things worse and worse for the citizens of the US.
This issue is compounded by our seemingly disinterested in solving crime legal system.
And the fact that instances like that foreigner here illegally who made an illegal U-turn and killed an entire family are finally making the news shows that the problems are finally coming to a boil, not that they haven't been happening until now.
