God's Wonderful Plan of Salvation

We have much to be thankful for when it comes to our salvation.

God in his infinite wisdom and love for fallen man devised a plan of salvation that even the angels in heaven desired to know about, 1 Peter 1:12.

Isaiah said, "Who is going to believe our report?" Isaiah 53:1

My answer to Isaiah would be, not many Isaiah. Jesus said, "Few there be that find it" Matthew 7:14.

Only about 10% of professing Christians know and understand what God has accomplished in his Son Jesus Christ. The rest seem to think that it is about them. The Gospel is not about us. We are the benefactors of the Gospel. The Gospel is about what took place between God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago.

The scripture says, "God was in Christ reconciling us and the world unto himself" 2 Corinthians 5:18,19. God sends his only begotten Son into the world to do for fallen man what fallen man cannot do for himself. God demands that fallen man fullfills his Holy Law and that he atones for his sins. Because man is a sinner he is not capable of offering to God what God demands. He is spiritually bankrupt.

The law demands perfection. Jesus said, "Be perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect". That is what the law demands. Jesus, in our name and on our behalf, offers to God the Father a life of perfect obedience to his Holy Law. It was the life of Jesus that was lived for our justification, Romans 3:26.

That was not enough. Something had to be done about man's sins. Jesus in our name and on our behalf, while on the cross became sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, 2 Corinthians 5:21. Jesus takes our place on the cross and becomes sin for us. If that doesn't melt your cold stony heart, nothing will.

God now sees ALL THINGS in his Son Jesus Christ. Jesus has fulfilled the law for us and has atoned for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. We can now stand before God's holy court as justified, because of what Christ has accomplished for us. God now sees us as perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10.

This salvation that God has provided for us in Jesus Christ is ours by simple faith in the work and the person of Jesus Christ. Plus nothing. Salvation is by Jesus Christ and by Jesus Christ alone. There is no room in this Gospel for Calvinism, Catholicism or whatever. If you bring your religion into the judgment and present it to God you will perish, Matthew 7:21-23.

This is promoting Salvation by works, by what a person does !

Those My Christ died for are Saved by His Death even while they are unbelieving enemies Rom 5:10 !

Simple faith? You mean one's own believing something about Christ while still in the flesh / carnal?
That's not possible Rom. 8:7-8! Man's own effort to come to God by his own works is always fruitless,
for all of the works of the wicked unsaved are as filthy rags Is. 64:6!

The Faith that is God-Given Gal. 5:22 in New Birth to all His Election of Grace Rom. 11:5
is Powerful to persuade them, God's Elect Rom. 8:33, His Sheep John 10:11,15,
into believing the Gospel of their Salvation Eph. 1:13. It shall be revealed to every one of them which Christ died for!

1 Thes. 1:4-5
Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. v. 5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only,
but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men
we were among you for your sake.

Without one first being made Spiritually Alive John 3:6 he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

The qualifier for Salvation, is that it's only for a remnant Rom. 11:5 ; Is. 1:9 of all humanity,
those who were according to God's Purpose, given Grace before the world began 2 Tim. 1:9.,
Chosen in Union with Christ before the foundation of the world Eph. 1:3-11!

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost

God's Mercy is only to His Elect, His Body the Church, He gave His life for Eph. 5:25!

Rom 9:22-23
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering
the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: v.23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory
on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory

You're another who needs to learn to be more edifying.

The Words of Truth are most edifying, but only to those who are meant to receive it.

You just cannot accept the fact that God loves ALL of his creation and especially the crown of his creation, humanity.

"God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son"

When Christ returns the curse will be lifted and ALL THINGS will be like new.

But because of your view of God's character and nature you won't be there.

Know this for certain.

I shall see you at the Judgment 1 Cor. 6:2!
