Amen!

Just as illustrated in Luke 4:24-29, even to this very day, many are filled with wrath against God,
and declaring Him to be unjust, because His Salvation is only given to His Chosen Elect, that He so loved.

Salvation is not based upon any man's freewill choice,
but only upon whom God has chosen to sheweth His discriminating mercy! Rom. 9:16 KJV

You're a Calvinist so, that's what you believe!

Hebrews 10:7-9

Mark 13:36

Jesus Christ chose to obey God.

Philippians 2:6-8

Jesus Christ chose to empty himself,

he chose to serve

He chose to humble himself

He chose to become obedient, note the word "become" it did not happen because God predetermined it, it happened because Jesus Christ exercised his free will to make it so.

Romans 10:9-10 our receiving is dependent our our free will decision to meet the two prerequisites.

note the tiny two letter word, "if"

If tells us that everyone has the choice as to whether we believe God or not believe God

God would that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Some exercise their free will to achieve that, some by their free will chose not to obey

What wrong with Rom. 9:16 ?

Romans 9:16

So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Does it say that to exercise your will is sin? or that to run is sin?

No, it does not.

However, God would have us to exercise our free will to loving and freely obey him?

Do you choose to obey God?

Yeah, and if you noticed in Jesus illustrations in Lk 4 they were Gentiles to whom God showed Mercy to in lieu of jews, that also ticked off the jews He was preaching to !

Never caught that; only saw the election of one widow over others, and the election of Naaman over others.
TY for pointing that out: neither the widow in Sidon or Naaman the Syrian were Israelites.
So then, no doubt, the Jews knowing that had to be ticked off! ☺

Yes, because Gentile Salvation was the Primary Purpose in the Eternal Purpose of Christ Eph 3:8-11

8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

But Understand, these Chosen Gentiles in Christ Eph 1:4 are Israel Isa 45:17

17 But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Eph. 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the
same body
, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel

Absolutely the Gentiles chosen in Christ are Israel Is. 45:17.

Scripture is true, but your comments are invalid and false ! I have not seen you quote a scripture that you believe or understand !

What would you know about that?

If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe

Can you believe God's word, or is that outside the scope of your supposed lack of will power?

Repentance in Salvation is given by God !

Repentance in Salvation is given by God !

Repentance in Salvation is given by God; That is the repentance that leads to Salvation and Conversion, is not found in man by nature, for its from a Godly source and effects a Godly sorrow 2 Cor 7:9-10

Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Notice, Paul said they were made to sorrow after a godly manner.

This is also is the type of repentance Peter means here in 2 Pet 3:9,15

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

So we can say that its Salvation repentance, which accompanies Salvation Heb 6:9

9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

Its a Repentance which is in Christ Jesus our Lord and bestowed upon all whom He saves and makes Godly !

Repentance in Salvation is given by God ! 2

Repentance in Salvation is given by God ! 2

Repentance in Salvation is given by God and its the repentance spoken of here Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Christ's death gives Two things to all for whom He died and is the Saviour of because of it #1 Christ's death or Christ Himself gives repentance and #2 it gives forgiveness of sins, or Justification from sin, it frees them from all blame. Now the word repentance here is the greek word metanoia and means:

repentance, a change of mind, change in the inner man.

So Jesus Christ, He gives all for whom He died a change of mind, and a change in the inner man !

The same blessed Truth is stated here Acts 11:18

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

To give or grant means:

to give one the ability to repent, or to cause him to repent

Now again this confirms that repentance is from a Godly source, and will produce godly sorrow. The only kind of repentance that can be produced from the natural man, is that of the world, its not a godly repentance. Yes it may produce a sorrow for our sinful actions, but its still only generated by our flesh, like esau here Heb 12:17. The repentance from the natural man is from a selfish self centered regard and for the fear of Judgment Heb 10:27

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

But Godly sorrow and repentance out of Salvation is in view of God's revealed Love and Mercy towards us in Christ, realizing that our evil deeds have been placed upon Christ, and He has already suffered and died for them in our stead, and thats a big difference and from a different source of motive ! This repentance is motivated by the life of Christ in us, and not by the flesh of the old man !
