They value me greatly because they don't have any volunteer doing yard work.

I do.

I worked 10.5 hours on Sunday. I love doing it, especially off days. I got a lot of things done.

My day offs are Mondays and Tuesdays.

Not me. I do mine in the early mornings and evenings.

I've had malignant melanoma so I have to stay out of the sun.

Nope, I am the only one. I have to ask handy man for muscle work. He did not seem to like me at beginning. I had to complain about his attitude to my supervisor and since then he is fine. I hardly ask him much.

Handy man is there to help everyone who needs help. He is the only man working there.

I don't know if you know about fisher house.

It is for maimed and wounded solders resting place.

One lady lost all her arms and legs. His husband has to be by her 24-7 all day and all night.

Those wounded solders gives me smile to see me work in the garden. They sure love the changes I made.

They seems to be amazed that I can work in this hot weather.

My reward is to see them smile at me when I am there. Their smiles gives me energy:)

fisher house is operated by donation.

They hire people to keep it running.

They don't have enough budget to fix sprinkler system.

If you are interested, you can donate to them for the fixing the sprinkler:)

I cannot water the whole fisher house by myself. So some are dying.

I am in a process of making it simple and efficient and beautiful so I can water the whole place by myself.
