me too. unfortunately, 7 billion people have the right answers. hence, TOL. i researched true libertarianism. wow. ron paul is the most genuine, honest intelligent guys i have ever heard on the constitution, economy, volunteerism, world policy, defense, and more. a Congressman for decades and a doctor. never cheated on his wife. no scandals. just buried by the media. research that. who owns the media. follow the money. but we can't. it's in the air. i'm not active politically like 99% of america cuz it's a waste of time. there are not 2 parties or even 3 or 4. it's one party. money

Ron Paul was the Presidential Independent Vote, when Obama was Elected First round, Correct?

=M=

I don't really follow honestly; I've had the Right to vote Removed from me, so I don't believe the Voting system in America is a Good Thing. We all have Social Security Numbers, and we could vote Personally; I'm saying we are already registered as American Citizens, we should be able to vote, just using the Social Security Numbers.

That makes sense to me, does anybody see anything wrong with that Idea?

That way; if you are an American, you can vote.

Instead of; Not all Americans Can Vote.

hi michael, yes my schedule is weird right now. hope i don't offend you too much with my posts. nobody really talks to me. what am i doing wrong?:rapture:

Dearest patrick jane,

Your schedule is fine with me. Don't worry. It's my schedule that is unusual. I can't post usually Mon. thru Sat. from 10pm until 12:30am. I've been driving my computer guy to work and he gives me FREE computer service, including if mine crashes. Otherwise it can get VERY expensive. You don't offend me at all with your posts. I'm sorry. I hope you don't feel I don't talk to you. I have been posting you each time you've posted to me. You're not doing anything wrong, so don't worry! It's quite nice having you here and it is very encouraging that you picked this thread to make new friends. I'm very glad to see that you've been so accommodating and trying to fit in here. You already are fitting in here. We'll get to know each other more and more as time goes by.

I take it you are a lady, because I don't know anyone named Patrick Jane. Maybe Patrick is short for Patricia. Hey, don't leave us here. There is always room for new people and old here. I love unconditionally. Even if you were an atheist, I would still find myself able to love you, most of the time, because Jesus said to love our enemies also. He said, what good is it if you only love those who you know already?

God Bless You And The Boat You Came In On!!! (JUST JOKING!!!)

Let Him Be With You Always,

Michael

thanks, no i'm a man. patrick jane is a character on a tv show called the mentalist. i'm 45. for a minute. i don't mind gettin criticized as long as it's productive and i admit i do like to argue as well. don't tell anybody. i'm light hearted and love everyone i've ever met actually now that i look back so i just assume i love everyone. one on one, face to face how can we not love each other if all barriers are let down. i coulda made a rhyme there, maybe a song. anyway, i have a dry, maybe strange sense of humor. i'm quite sure everyone i've met doesn't love me. go figure. good to make a friend if i havn't sent a requwst yet i'll try. maybe i did

Dear Mark,

I'm answering this post because it's not so long. The other ones are lengthy with many pics and music. You tell Barbarian to join us, not separate from us. He is Christian too, right?? What gives. But he is evidently a Christian who is an evolutionist also I guess. How can he believe God created everything and continues to have His Hand in everything going on down here?? Heck, if God wants to alter a being's nucleus or genome, so be it. We can trust Him!! C'mon Barbarian, join the bandwagon, so that we don't have to argue with one of us,,, a Christian!!

God Bless All Of Us,

Michael

:rapture:

:)

P.S. Barbarian, please fix the line length back to where it should be. Thanks!

Sudden appearance means no evidence of evolution but maintaining beliefs in it anyway
"Sudden" appearance again clearly doesn't mean miraculous or created, or sudden in human terms.
More rational people would probably not jump to such conclusions.
More rational people would probably note the geological changes indicated in the strata and then look honestly for common ancestors from what was around before. Waving away the evidence because you'd rather believe in miracles is rather a requirement for YECs it seems.

That does seem to be an itch that creationists are constantly scratching. :)

"Selective breeding (also called artificial selection) is the process by which humans breed other animals and plants for particular traits."

Calling selective breeding evolution is saying nature has a mind. :hammer:

In that case nature is God which is not good news for atheists. :dead:

--Dave
Artificial selection uses the very same mechanism as natural selection and shows what can be achieved and how quickly adaptions can become major changes.
Even if you don't like it Dave artificial selection is still an evolution which in human relative terms is nevertheless still gradual or graduated.
Whether nature selects naturally and mindlessly or it is done with intent and purpose, it is still evolution and change over time.

Generally when an evolutionist uses the phrase sudden appearance...what they mean is that it appears in the fossil record without any evidence it evolved. Often the phrase is accompanied with words such as 'surprise' or 'puzzling'.

So now you are a mind reader on top of being horrible at science?

You YECs do seem to be a multifaceted lot.

Sudden is for a geologist like small is for an astrophysicist. Just because one might say a certain galaxy cluster is small doesn't mean you could fit it in a shoebox.

(Sorry, 6days, if I've undermined your next claim...)

It's impossible to have a mindless selection, without mind there would be only randomness.

Nonsense Dave, take a look at wild life, lions don't pick their prey at random, predators choose their prey from what they can kill at least cost to themselves, while inept predators starve and die. The concept of natural selection is probably only difficult to those who don't want it to be true.

I have a sieve that selects and retains only the large bits. It must be a clever sieve!

The wind selects the brownest leaves on the beech tree near my office and piles them in a neat round heap by the corner of the wall. Clever wind.

The river sorts out the sediment so that it selectively deposits according to gain size. Clever.

I didn't know the wind and river have minds - thanks for clarifying that, DAFT_Dave. ;)

That's why I try to Throw up as much evidence as I can before they go Runnin' off Like Barbie did.

Same thing with Politics, I know my Profile says Little to the Left, but that has nothing to do with my Religious or Political Views; I'm actually very Non-Political, but I believe that there is Only One Right Answer, in any given Problem.

That's because talking to you is like talking to the wind. It accomplishes very little if anything, and all we can hear is you howling about nothing.
