I believe in theistic evolution.

Almost all Muslims believe in the mechanism of evolution.

Some believe in human speciation too.

But all believe that Adam was created by God's own hands as his vicegerent on earth.

Allah didn't say that he was going to start mankind when He mentioned his plan for creating Adam. He just said that He wanted a vicegerent on earth.

Dear Repentance,

You keep believing in all of what others have told you so you can keep up with the protocol. So you think Allah just wanted a vicegerent on earth or do you think the God saw a bit further than that already? Of course God planned on making mankind. And frankly, I can see why He did and I understand now why extreme changes will be made. If you don't know what I mean by that, don't write me. Too many of His children have gone off the fanatical deep end. I don't want to waste my precious time of all that has been presented so far.

All I've ever seen is Islam trying to copy what the Hebrews did, etc. so they'd have a similar story for themselves to hold. I see a corrupt 'religion' from way back when and I do mean Mohamed. It came after all of the Hebrews stories and those afterwards. Which some made it to your book, the Koran, the 'most beautiful book ever written.' If you are a kind Arab, then I am sorry. I will leave it in God's Hands.

I truly hope I didn't say anything wrong between us in the last post or two??? If so, I didn't mean to. Forgive me. You haven't gotten banned again, eh? I sure hope not!!

Well, just wondered what was up. I was off kilter for about three days (mostly some terrible flu?). You take good care.

I am familiar with what you are quoting already. And it is the truth.

I also checked out Page 421, Post 6310, and there is no music mentioned there. It's okay. Must be some mix-up. I'm up very late for my bedtime. It is 4am here and I am sick also. Will chat with you again 2morrow, I do hope!!

Praise God!!

Dear Repentance,

I've read more of the Koran than I care too. It does NOT compare in eloquence and 'beauty', like it says in the book, than the Bible. I have a few other things I don't like, but I'll leave them to myself, for now. Pity those who are fooled by the Qur'an. Not for me.

LOL! Blechhh!! No I don't read the Qur'an or listen to it's eloquence and beauty. Get thee behind me Satan. You're a case. And how does one listen to it without reading it first? Oh, they have someone or some recording doing it for them?? Even I READ the Bible, not for it's eloquence and beauty, but for learning and just for fun. Enough.

I Missed This!!

I Missed This!!

To answer your highlighted question; "No, that is not what I am saying."

Now will you squarely answer my questions?

Are you saying that if something is created through natural processes that God is not ultimately responsible?

Are you saying that if something goes through an egg stage then that is not a part of the creature's life?

Dear Noguru,

I'm sorry. I never asked these two questions for you. It was an oversight and I am VERY SORRY!! I don't want to lose you as a friend, so please forgive me.

If you mean natural processes like a woman getting pregnant and God knowing that child's future while it is still in the womb, then yes, I know that God is ultimately responsible. You use the word create and that saved you. God 'creates' all things. Even the things we think we 'create' are put into the minds of men to discover or 'know' so that they can bring them to fruition. Like the light bulb or telephone, God put it in their minds, so that all of this advancement could be.

Also, if something goes through an egg stage, then it is part of the creature's life. I'm just saying that God created everything as an adult instead of as an egg, including the egg in a women's womb. And yes, the chicken came 'before' the egg. For God created the fowl, including the chicken first.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Godspeed!!

Michael

Dear Mark,

You're right. I know what you mean. No matter what you post to them, they are adamant. That's what I call acting like a brick wall. They have no evidence. I have the best-selling book of all time,,,the Bible. To me, that is proof. I must have seven or more Bible's here. One is a Douay Bible, a few King James, a Bible with Apocrypha, a New Version Bible. I do wish I had the Pseudopigrapha. It's huge and a copy now probably costs $300 to $500. I have no idea but you can't check it out of the Library. You can only look at it there. And it's big, so I'd never attempt to read a big part of it. You'd have to see one. Maybe it's in Wikipedia? That's comforting. Maybe it's right at my fingertips and I don't even realize it.

Okay, I'll get outta here. You take good care. I'm going to be hitting the sack in ten minutes or so.

God Bless You And Yours,

Michael

Micheal you're now again switching the goal posts...

You said that you have read some Quran and never say its beauty and eloquence over the Bible.

But the Quran is a recitation meant to be listened to, bro. I asked you to listen to some Quran. You called me Satan :(

And then you say that you read the Bible not for its eloquence and beauty but to learn and just for fun.

But come on, I never denied that to understand it you must read the translation.

But consider this: For a person who understands much of Arabic he needs no reading. He could just listen to it and enjoy its beauty as well as learn what's its saying.

But the Bible is not like that. No offence but its a boring piece of literature with so much of junk (unnecessary details). I prefer hymns and songs. But yeah - the Quran is both in one.

Here is Surah Maryam (Virgin Mary). See for yourself how God actually narrates stories (John the Baptist, Mary and Jesus). To the point, full of rhythm and rhyme, full of supplication etc

Surah Maryam
