Extremism, fanatical devotion to beliefs that are destructive to society is something quite different from extreme idealism. The Nazi's managed to hurt some people. Pol Pot managed to hurt some people as did Stalin. Napolean and their ilk. The Jim Jones massacre managed to hurt some people. A strong opinion will be backed up with solid data. The Nazis and Commies murdered millions of poeple. It was the action, not the "feeling," that did the damage.

Freedom of speech is there for a reason. We need to be reminded of the Nazis and the Commies so we never forget just how many poeple they've murdered. That means keeping them around and allowing them to voice their opinions. Remember the old phrase, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
