Clarence Page: Who’s afraid of critical race theory? Those who don’t know what it is

Leftists are also lying about CRT. The democrat party supports CRT indoctrination in schools while claiming they do no such thing, just like the democrat party supports graphic pornographic-enhanced gutter sex education in schools while claiming they do no such thing.
It's kind of like the story about how the best way to spot counterfeit currency, is to study the genuine article carefully. You can't carefully study every potential counterfeit anyway, is the moral of the story, so you might as well focus instead on what you know is true and right and correct and accurate and reliable and trustworthy and logical and the like. Then you will spot the errors in opposing ideas and ideologies and theories and notions and concepts. Or in counterfeit money.

CRITICAL RACE THEORY

BANNING CRITICAL RACE THEORY

Earlier this month, Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves signed legislation intended to ban the precepts of Critical Race Theory from that state’s public schools. According to Campus Reform, Mississippi is the fifteenth state to enact such a ban.
The tricky thing, of course, is characterizing the teachings of CRT. The point is not to ban teaching about CRT, but rather to ban the pernicious doctrines that flow from CRT. Mississippi’s approach is simple and is based on the inherent racism of Critical Race Theory:
The new legislation states that public institutions cannot teach that any “sex, race, ethnicity, religion, or national origin is inherently superior or inferior” nor that individuals should be “treated adversely” on the basis thereof.
Furthermore, the bill prevents instructors from conducting a lesson that “compels students to personally affirm, adopt, or adhere to” the above description.
You wouldn’t think such legislation would be controversial, but CRT, enthusiastically endorsed by the nation’s teachers’ unions, does in fact teach that “whiteness” is a defect that makes whites inferior to other races. And it is commonly believed that women are superior to men–it is only masculinity that is “toxic”–or, at least, that was commonly believed when people could remember what women are.
It is rather comical to see liberals objecting to anti-CRT legislation because it infringes on free speech. Apparently this is the only subject on which the Left is still willing to stand up for the First Amendment. But CRT bans don’t inhibit teachers and administrators from voicing their beliefs like all other citizens, no matter how noxious those beliefs may be. It simply prevents them from using the public schools to indoctrinate our children in racist doctrines. The public schools are, after all, run by and on behalf of the public.

I gave up on trying to cut and paste this, it's a series of posts on another social media platform. It's a quick read and it explains why the current attempt by the left to indoctrinate our children in gender queer philosophy is integrally tied to critical race theory

Ibram X. Kendi: Conservatives Trying to Stop CRT in Schools Are Grooming Children to Become Racist

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MARCH 10: Ibram X. Kendi visits Build to discuss the book Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You at Build Studio on March 10, 2020 in New York City. (Photo by Michael Loccisano/Getty Images)

In a stunning display of projection, Boston University professor Ibram X. Kendi suggests that those who try to stop Critical Race Theory in schools are actually “grooming” children to become racist. Ironically, CRT teaches children that they must view every social interaction and person in terms of race or color in order to be “antiracist.”
In an op-ed written for the Atlantic, Kendi suggested that stopping CRT in schools means facilitating the “grooming” of children to become white supremacists, as he claims that so-called “anti-racist education” protects all children — including “white children” — against “the growing threat of white supremacists.”

So CRT is just identity politics?
CRT is an expression of the mindsets of descendants of slaves who believe slavery made the descendants incapable of earning wealth through responsible hard work because, in the delusions of CRT, the racist white man continues to oppress the black man for no reason.

Idiots on the left stupidly think whites are evil, the nation wickedly worships white men, white men do not matter because only black lives matter, and this country is in danger of being destroyed by widespread white supremacist terrorism and murder.

Democrats have been cultivating false racist narratives for political reasons for so long that millions of Americans now wrongly believe cops and whites are racists whether they know it or not. Sadly, those erroneously believing innocent whites are racists are themselves racist and don't know it.

Texas schools are being told to teach ‘opposing views’ of the Holocaust. Why?

I’ve been trying to imagine what Gina Peddy could have been thinking when, on 8 October, she informed a group of Southlake, Texas, elementary school teachers that, if their classroom libraries included books about the Holocaust, students should also be steered toward books with “opposing views”.

The executive director for curriculum and instruction for the Carroll Independent school district, Peddy later explained that she was simply helping her staff comply with Texas House Bill 3979. Signed into law on 1 September by Governor Greg Abbott, the ruling prohibits educators from discussing controversial historical, social or political issues. If these subjects do arise, HB 3979 mandates that teachers “explore such issues from diverse and contending perspectives without giving deference to any one perspective”.

Peddy’s speech was secretly recorded by one of the training session attendees. On the tape, one can hear the bewildered protests that greeted her directive. When a teacher demanded to know how one is supposed to “oppose” the Holocaust, Peddy replied: “Believe me. That’s come up.”

I oppose the Holocaust.

Don't you?

... Gina Peddy ... informed a group of Southlake, Texas, elementary school teachers that, if their classroom libraries included books about the Holocaust, students should also be steered toward books with “opposing views”.
Elementary School libraries should not include books about the Holocaust. Period.

When the Holocaust is taught in 11th grade world history, it should be taught alongside other atrocities such as the Armenian genocide, the Ukrainian Mass starvation, Mao's murder of 100 million Chinese, the Rwandan massacre, the ongoing Uyghur genocide, and others

Which should be immediately followed by a discussion on whether mankind is basically good or basically evil.
