What are you talking about? A few posters who mostly spend their time insulting people without evidencing the ability to frame a cogent argument are missing and you're ready to yawn or weep?

I've spoken to a problem of replacing some of the good people who've fallen away, not due to some shift in philosophical edge, but natural attrition and the need to replace them. I think TOL has been following an incremental diminution for a while now. What, you're just noticing it?

Not much. Talking to an agent about the first novel, working on two more and I'm about to take half time student status going for another undergrad degree, this one in education.

Why would you say it is kinder and gentler just because he said he wanted a leg? Presumably to eat it. Why would the thought of him eating a leg make you think of kinder or gentler?
Did he say turkey leg or the more appropriate term, "drumstick"?
