Can a Christian lose their salvation

Clearly you are here to deceive.

Discourse.

18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

I believe that, the whole Bible (the whole Bible, all 73 books) is the Word of God and infallible and inerrant.

You don't have a leg to stand on with your works based religion.

I practice Jesus's religion, the religion He founded. If you call it "works based" as if that's a judgment, you're judging Him, not me.

Paul condemns you right here.

16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

So, don't sin. Plain.

Paul said it is not possible to sin, when you are under grace.

St. John says the same thing in his first epistle.

You pervert.

23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.

Elaborate. What does this mean, a Christian should not murder or rape or commit first degree perjury because it wouldn't edify? Not because it is sin, and that I am not under sin's dominion? and that I am dead to sin? not for those reason? but because it wouldn't edify? Is that what you mean?

I don't think that's Paul's point.

So, don't sin. If you sin sin clearly does have at least some dominion over you. That's just plain.
That’s the problem with the law (sin), if you mess up once you’re guilty of all.
The law just leads us to Christ, and nothing we do is counted against us anymore. Sin grabs your attention away from God. In fact, it’s like a fart in the wind ((please excuse my analogy), let it go and press on to the mark.

So, don't sin, no? There's a whole theology of sin, but the gist is, don't sin, no?

Really. I give you Matthew 25. Every thought of your heart condemns you to death. If you even look at a woman with lust, you’re guilty. If you get angry, you‘ve committed murder. Sitting in a closet telling a priest you lied won’t reach the Lord. You did it, and you’ll do it again and again. That’s why we need God’s mercy and grace.

Jeremiah says the Ark will not be remade, and in fact forgotten. It was destroyed in the siege by Babylon. Yet the uninspired book of Maccabees says Jeremiah knows where it is. And hid it. There aree 66 books in the Bible, but that is a red herring. You just pick the wrong ones to use. The Jews excluded it from scripture for a reason.

What does this mean
It means you can't break the law if you are not under the law. And Paul says you should be executed if you do those things. But since you are carnally minded, you cannot see it. Pervert.

They excluded it from their canon after the Church had authenticated it as ours. Their excuse was the same one Luther used, because they were all originally written in Greek instead of Hebrew. But the real reason is jealously. If the Church didn't exist then those books would still be Jewish canon. Jealousy had them removed, and jealousy is diabolic.

And the Ark of the New and eternal Covenant, as opposed to Moses's Old Covenant, is Mary.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Sure. The Old Law. Moses's law. The one with circumcision made by hands. We are under the law of Christ.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Circumcision is NOT in the Law of Moses.

I guess that, you being an RC, would not know that.

The "law of Christ" is a FIGURE OF SPEECH. Again, if you cannot understand figures of speech, you will never understand the Bible.

Lev. 12:3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
How right you are...Did you know that on the 8th day after birth, the vitamin K is at its highest in the baby's body excelerating the clotting factors of the baby's blood. Before this happens and a circumcision takes place the baby could bleed to death. There is always a meaning to GOD's WORD.

Circumcision came before the law. LONG before it, in fact.
I was responding to Right Divider’s statement where he said this, “Circumcision is NOT in the Law of Moses.”

I figured he’d misstated it, so there is no need to correct me on this one. I realize you’re re trying to find fault, but there is no need. I’m just trying to spend time in fellowship around the Bible.

I didn’t know that, and I even had my son circumcised the same day he was born. It’s a good thing I had it done in the hospital.

GloryDaz, evidently you are young. From the mid 70s when lasers became common use in the hospital surgical units, was this process done away with...of course some did it the same days back in the 50s and 60s. They were taking a big chance...However, the main part of this is that GOD told them how to circumcise way back then when it started.

If you circumcise today because the Bible tells you to, then you are cursed to keep the law.

I may be dumb, but I sure ain’t young. 😂

I didn’t pay any attention to how they did it to my boy, but I agree, God was good about showing His people how best to obey His orders. Keeping the law in all respects was very important to the Jews.
