I responded to the call of God. . .AFTER I learned of Him by Jesus Christ. /QUOTE]
Please respond to this:

Did you hear an audible voice? How do you know it wasn't the call of the loon?

You learned of Him? Who taught you? Did a big vision of Jesus show up like Oral Roberts claimed?

God made me alive in Christ and chose to adopt me. He softened my hard heart so that I might see my rebellion. God caused me to repent (and He continues to bring me to repentance). God gave me the gift of faith so that I might enjoy Him. God now works in me, sanctifying me in love. I am God's child by God's gracious mercy in which He saved me out of my rebellion and made me His own.
I am in awe of God's amazing grace.
God is Good.

Sanctifying you?? You have no experience you can point to that speak of Christ. Emotions all, if any.
You live a lie. What else needs be said. Tragic. What are you even doing on a Christian forum when all you have is regurgatated darkness and hatred which speaks for itself? . .and it does speak for itself, loud and clear.

CR, You have no clue, so it's best you stay silent regarding the Valley God has lead me through. He has carried me on more than one occasion through deep, deep sorrows that I do not wish on anyone. Yet the Valley of Vision is good and brings a blessing in the suffering. I am grateful beyond anything I can express for God's goodness.

God made me alive in Christ and chose to adopt me.

You tell me why you say God choose you.
I will see if it lines up the the words in the Bible.

He softened my hard heart so that I might see my rebellion.

God tells us to soften our own hearts.

God caused me to repent (and He continues to bring me to repentance).

How does God cause you to repent?

I'm going to compare what you say with the scriptures.

God gave me the gift of faith so that I might enjoy Him.

How?
God now works in me, sanctifying me in love.

How?
I am God's child by God's gracious mercy in which He saved me out of my rebellion and made me His own.

Why?

Let's compare your answers to God's Truth as found in the Holy Bible.

How will both of you?

Neither one of you can say you never heard the truth.
I fall at the mercy of God. I admit there is no righteousness within me. If I am not found alive in Christ then I am dead in my sins and God will justly condemn me.
I have faith that God has made me alive in Christ.
Ephesians 2:6
he raised us (me) from the dead along with Christ and seated us (me) with him in the heavenly realms because we (I am) are united with Christ Jesus.

CALVINISM: TULIP

T: Total depravity Every facet of every person everywhere has been marred by sin.

Actuality:

Though by definition total depravity could be conceived to be reprobation. However, it could be, for one reason of another, a temporary swing in one’s disposition who is without God or who has run from Him. Reprobation, on the other hand, is by a decree of God which cannot be reversed even by Him. (cf Romans 1:28 KJV). Here how it works: If you remember Queen Esther, a kings decree is always the last word meaning, even he can’t reverse it. In this is God seen as KING of KINGs no other king can be over Him making His decrees ABSOLUTELY IRREVERSIBLE! By this same knowledge and understanding, a kings decision for the advancement of any individual are never decrees, if he is a wise king. This even held true for Jesus.

U: Unconditional electionGod chooses those to be saved based solely on His will:

Actuality

The elect are of the New Born of God, Spiritually birthed from above. Upon salvation they are the select who continued on to have their lives ruled by the Life of Christ Jesus.

L: Limited atonementChrist died only for those who are elect:

Actuality

By His death on the cross did Jesus Christ redeem all of mankind, restoring them to same level playing field Adam enjoyed before he transgressed. In addition did those righteous held captive by the grave rejoice to have been set free!

I: Irresistible grace The elect cannot resist God’s call to salvation:

Actuality

The elect are those chosen in the foreknowledge of God witnessed by Him after the fact of their salvation. Irresistible grace would be by “vision” of that which God would grant them sufficient to seal them unto eternal life., i.e., His new birth built upon the foundation of Redemption. This, however, would not impede one who might otherwise purposely, by untoward persuasion, choose to fall away unto apostasy. By God’s design will the freewill of man always be an issue until his glorification, irrespective of election.

P: Perseverance of the saintsThe elect cannot lose their salvation:

Actuality

If they remain faithful: “If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Colossians 1:23 (KJV) + many more verses.

Correct...and Calvin never used the acronym. He expressed his observation of scripture in much more detail. The five points were in response to the 5 Remonstrances produced by Arminians. Sadly, many on this site have nothing in common with either positions.

Ephesians 1:3-23
[3]All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
[4]Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
[5]God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
[6]So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.
[7]He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
[8]He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
[9]God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure.
[10]And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.
[11]Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.
[12]God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.
[13]And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.
[14]The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
[15]Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere,
[16]I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,
[17]asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
[18]I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.
[19]I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power
[20]that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
[21]Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.
[22]God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.
[23]And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

Christ , God's Word , His promises , only belong to those who have received the Spirit of Christ .
Until that happens , none of what you posted applies .

So in accordance with the tulip topic , which I believe is your understanding of the Salvation process , at what specific point in the process does God seal the Spirit of Christ in the elect ?

Do you believe the elect are born with the Spirit of Christ ?

They can't answer that with any kind of knowledge from God.

I have heard some Calvinists say that they are saved before they are born. But when I remind them that they claim one must prove understanding of the doctrine of Calvin, they seem confused.
Other Calvinists say that a person is saved only after they hear the Calvin doctrine and believe, and therefore it means any child who dies before understanding and believing is not one of the elect.
