“Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men” (Matthew 12:31).
When Jesus was accused of casting out demons by the power of Satan, when in reality He was doing it through the Power of the Holy Spirit, these accusers blasphemed the Spirit of God.
Blaspheming the Holy Spirit can only be committed by someone who professes to know the Lord, as the Pharisees of old, or else had once known Him; and then turned against Him.
The unredeemed, who has NEVER known the Lord, cannot blaspheme the Holy Spirit simply because they have no true knowledge of the Spirit.
The person that blasphemes the Holy Spirit is doomed!
However, the statements do not mean a blackslider cannot not come back to the Lord; but they do mean that one who has actually blasphemed the Holy Spirit, will have no desire to come BACK to the Lord, but in fact, will continue to oppose Him.
Anyone who desires to come to the Lord, which desire is placed there by the Holy Spirit can do so (Rev. 22:17).
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to go against precisely what the Spirit has in mind for one to pray for, say and do, as discerned within one's own heart or spirit.
For example: If one was led to transgress the Ten Commandments by the Spirit and one choose to uphold the law and ignore the Spirit one has blasphemy the Holy Spirit.
What the Spirit has in mind for one to pray for say and do is always in line with the will of God.
If Abraham did not obey God and kill his son, he would have blasphemy God. Same rule apply for the Holy Spirit. Abraham is our example.
What the Spirit has in mind for each human to pray for say and do, as discerned within one's heart is precisely what is God individualized will for one.
Therefore if one ignores or disobeys what the Spirit has in mind for one to pray for say and do, as discerned within one's heart, one has disobeyed the will of God. Therefore one has blasphemy the Holy Spirit.
To teach that Christians must uphold the Ten Commandments and all other laws of society, morality and religiosity is serious blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is now that Spirit and where the Spirit is there is liberty (re. 2 Corinthians: 3 verse: 17).
Yet most people sleep and erroneously (and Antichrist-ly) promote and uphold that Christians must uphold the Ten Commandments and all other laws of society, morality and religiosity. These people are in Peter's church or in one of the spin off churches of Peter which constitute all of traditional Christianity. They were sent by God to Peter, who is Satan, to correct their blaspheming ways and so that their spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus (re. 1 Timothy: 1 verse: 20 and 1 Corinthians: 5 verse: 5.)
